My thoughts? Glad you asked.
I lived through the Nixon years.
And the Reagan years.
I survived the Bush years. Senior and Junior.
I will live through this next administration the same way.
I will find and love my family, the ones who are related by more than just blood.
I will relearn to be poor, remember to share,do the best I can with what I have.
I will not be bitter, nor will I hate.
I will continue to raise my voice against the injustice I see,and keep my feet on the path of Peace.
Now I raise my voice in prayer and song to all my brothers and sisters, all my mothers and fathers, sons and daughters. ❤️☮
I have my favorite genres, but just about anything that comes my way I will read. When I was younger, I often found words I did not know so it was off to the dictionary to look up this new friend. This of course, severely ruins the flow of the experience. But a new word is a new word.
This leads me to one of the best things to happen in recent times.
The Kindle ,iBooks, and I think all the other e-readers,let me look up words ,instantly, without leaving the page, with very little interruption.
Absolutely,by far ,the coolest thing.
I just highlight the unknown get a little window with the definition ,the context is still fresh, and my reading enjoyment is wonderfully enhanced.
Funny thing , this does not work with paper books. Several times I have caught myself tapping an unknown word. Mmmmm
