Many new inventions and discoveries come from imitating nature. Owls can fly in complete silence, which is an advantage when hunting their prey. Scientists have revealed their secret for silent flight.

Those are issues the FAA is working on and they hope to issue airspace restrictions, regulations and licensing requirements by 2015 before issuing certificates of authorization for commercial use.  Many government agencies  already use drones.for law enforcement, fire fighting,  bridge inspections etc. but Congress realizes there is a huge potential for licensing commercial drones.

This pumpkin is real.  It was grown in a plastic mold that forms it into a sculpture of Frankenstein's face.  It's edible and costs $100 to buy one from inventor Tony Dighera who can't make enough of these amazing inventions to keep up with orders.  The same technique and process also  makes Buddha-faced pears, square pumpkins, and logos - See them at:  http://www.inventor-strategies.com/amazing-inventions.html

Imperial Speeder Bikes were first introduced in the Star Wars movie Return of the Jedi.  The motorcycle-like hovercrafts were an intriguing fantasy.  But now an aerospace company has made this fantasy - a reality.

The Aero-x hoverbike flies to a height of 12 feet (3.6m) and can reach speeds of 45 mph (72 kmh).   This invention hits the market in 2017. More: http://www.inventor-strategies.com/modern-inventions.html
