No upsets?  Im betting something goes wrong with Duke or Kentucky and at least one of them goes home. Still, you're putting it out there and I am not. Good call. I like that puck thing too :-)

What a treasure to find. Im guessing from the Mercury Capri early mid 1970s?

This is a nice McD's with big crowds handled adroitly. Wifi and coffee is my fave

I returned from Atlanta after 20 years and was thrilled to see the place hasnt changed one bit. No one anywhere has ever cut my hair as good as this crowd. I remember when the got the drink box back in the 1960s and I am loving the fact that it still runs. (although drinks arent 15 cents)

Love at first bite. The place is cozy and quietish, not like any of the popular hipster joints. Very beautiful food is 80% magic and 20% mystery. Try something you would not think you'd like, and I'll bet you'll be thrilled. Adult beverages are adroitly crafted and delightfully delicious. Also, go late, 10:30pm-2am on Fri Sat for a whole different menu and great value. Couples should eat at the bar. First dates are sure to score here.

A local classic for over 50 years. Home of the What-A-Burger, big burgers off a flat top grill are a satisfying treat. IF youre hungry for dinner get there before they close at 7pm.

Jakes is a good bar but it seems many reviews are written by happy drunks. The food is aok but not the best bar food in town. The beer choice is crazy huge., The specials are good and you can go looking like Kurt Cobain without feeling under-dressed. Lots of UNCG students and the ilk. I like Jake's and if I played pool I'd like it even more. The always full parking lot tells you something is worth checking out.
