A country that has abandoned all efforts at creating a saner immigration policy has gotten the result it deserves: national incoherence.

These private prison corporations have spent millions lobbying Congress for increasingly aggressive immigration detention policies.
The private prison industry has a significant stake in expanding immigrant detention, and will spend millions to ensure that it continues to do so.

Story

"A world of immigration services -- close to home."
Introduction
I have been representing clients from almost every continent (no clients from Antarctica yet) for over a dozen years. I regularly handle immigration matters before the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice and the Department of State. I also regularly litigate immigration cases before the courts of the United States on behalf of my clients.

I am the lawyer/owner of Drew Law Office, PLLC. We are located just outside of Manchester, NH -- in fact we are across the street from the USCIS Manchester Field Office (technically in Bedford). Attorney Jillian LaCroix also practices immigration law here. Aside from the lawyers, we also have Laura Oyuela who is our Spanish interpreter and legal assistant here at the law office.

As an immigration attorney practicing in New Hampshire, I deal with the National Visa Center (NVC) on a fairly regular basis. I find that the best way to communicate with the NVC is through e-mail. Google doesn't allow me to list the email address - but one does exist.

The actual web page for Strafford Co. Corrections seems to be down so I wound up here. It will do the trick for now I guess. Randall Drew (immigration attorney). Nobody wants to say anything good about a jail I suppose. But as an attorney who has to visit clients there -- I have always been treated well and have no complaints with access.

As an Immigration Attorney, I travel to the Immigration Court in Boston, MA on a regular basis from New Hampshire. If you have a morning hearing please give yourself at least an additional hour of travel time for traffic and for clearing the security entering the JFK Federal Building. The Court itself is on the 3rd Floor of the high-rise. The last ten miles of the trip can take a full hour when the traffic is bad (e.g. an accident, or inclement weather). Finding parking can be another task; my advice is to pay the very expensive rates for garage parking ... because driving around in endless circles looking for a legal "on street" parking spot may save you some money but it may also stress you out and/or cause you to be late. Afternoon traffic heading into the city is generally not as bad -- but it is still advisable to give yourself plenty of extra time to make it to the court. Finally, the relatively low rating I have given has nothing to do with the quality of the work of the judges, clerks or staff. It is merely a reflection of the difficulty of accessing the court from ME, NH, VT, RI and Central MA. USCIS has opened up offices in Portland, ME; Bedford, NH; Providence, RI; and Lawrence, MA to improve public access. However, the Immigration Court has stayed put at government center. I assume that has much to do with the budgets of the respective agencies (USCIS = Dept. of Homeland Security and the Immigration Court = Dept. of Justice). In any event I hope readers find this review helpful.

I have worked with Real Gilbert in the past and he has always been pleasant to do business with. As an immigration lawyer I see many documents from all over the world. There hasn't been one yet that Words couldn't handle. Their office in Manchester is only five minutes away from me in Bedford -- that beats having to deal with going to Boston any day!
