See the difference. #fujifilm   #fujinon
I’ve gotten my fair share of questions regarding the XF56mm F1.2 R APD, most of which are asking what it brings to the table that the original XF56 doesn’t already. The question is quite understandable as there hasn’t really been any sample images that depict the difference of the lenses effectively. Even the marketing material that Fujifilm brought with them to show the differences wasn’t that much convincing from all the photos I’ve seen post...

+Dave Kennard I actually asked the same question to Fujifilm and they say the image circle is optimized for aps-c. Making the image circle larger meant adding more weight to lenses and bodies as well.

Seven

7 Years, 7 Months, 7 Days ago... I took what I consider to be my very first landscape photograph. It has been an amazing journey ever since and I am thankful for the experience, the friends I made and just to everyone who gave their support all through these years especially to the people who kept pushing me even when I doubted myself. Here's to at least seven more years of land, light and epic frames!

Sharpness comparison of the XF50-140mm F2.8 with the XF56mm F1.2 R  #fujifilm   #fujinon
I’ve been lucky enough to have tried a few pre-production samples of the XF50-140mm back in October and saw first hand how sharp it was comparing it with both XF56mm F1.2 R original and APD versions as well as with another brand’s top gun of the same class. But due to the pre-production status of the lens, as always, we had to reserve our final impressions until the production models come out which is what I have with me right now. We were suppos...

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. We were four people who reserved 2 rooms days before our stay. The only available rooms was 1 deluxe and 1 super deluxe so we confirmed that. On the day of our stay going to the hotel, the staff called to confirm our reservation that we did but we also asked if there was another deluxe room available instead of getting the super deluxe. The problem with the super deluxe is it's on the upper floors but we were at Subic for the watersports so we didn't want to make a wet mess on our way up. The deluxe rooms we wanted are at the ground floor. The staff confirmed there was so we confirmed that. Minutes later, they called again to say there wasn't any extra deluxe available. Which was weird since they confirmed that there actually was. We didn't make a fuss about it so just went back to the 1 deluxe and 1 super deluxe instead. When we arrived, to our extreme annoyance of the incompetence of the staff, they booked the super deluxe but cancelled the deluxe room which left the four of us with only 1 room! When we complained about it, the staff insisted that we only reserved 1 room and never asked for 2. The arrogance and stupidity of the hotel reception staff just astounds me! There are better places for your money!
