The above are the subjects of my expertise or so I would think.
I have recently quit being a full time working and become involved in my own company "The Ra.Sa Initiative". The name RaSa is derived from the Indian Nav Ras.
"Navras," is the aesthetic experience (not the emotional experience itself) of the nine basic emotions or tastes (rasas), viz., sensitive (perception of love, shringar), comic (hasya), heroic (veer), furious (raudra), apprehensive (vibhatsa), compassionate (karuna), horrific (bhayanak), marvelous (adbhut), and calmed (shaant) (Wikipedia)
So The Ra.Sa Initiative will attempt to capture such aesthetic experiences of different human emotions using whatever visual medium is available, be it photography, Video or new media.
My profile page scrapbook photos show one such project - The Theyyam ritual held mostly in the north of Kerala, India.
