Customer service was pretty good. The restaurant, though, was burning up inside. I had the vegetarian ramen which was okay, & my husband had spicy tankatsu? Based on the reviews I was expecting a most flavorful ramen (I had to add salt, pepper, chili oil to mine more than a couple of times) I would te comes trying a less popular ramen spot so you could get something more home made! Overall it was okay.

No matter the time of day I come here, there is always a wait. But its very well worth it for one of the best ramen in the city. The broth is well flavor with no msg. Tonkatsu, and spicy tonkatsu are the best. You can add extras like corn or egg for $1. The ramen are well done, they just have a little bite, chewiness to them and it goes well with the broth. The flavor combination is great. They moved to a bigger location and the seatings are so much better. But still, same great flavor and ramen!

Very friendly service with classic ramen options. This place ranks at the top of the list for many ramen fans, so I'll definitely give it another go.

There was a little bit of a wait around 2 in the afternoon (ten minutes). Waiter was a bit disorganized but service was fast and friendly. Smaller seating area made it cramped. Great ramen. Tried spicy miso, miso, and tomato ramen. Everything was delicious.

I love this little place. They finally moved into a bigger space so the wait isn't as long. I've tried almost everything on the menu - I love the tomato ramen

we wanted ramen. this place was nearby. it's small and quaint inside. I loved the focus on ramen. made me think of the ramen joints in Japan featured in David Chang's "mind of a chef." I also loved that I could get extra noodles and soup, cuz those are my favorite parts of ramen. We both got the tonkotsu. He added chicken dumplings, egg, and made it spicy. I added tofu, noodles, and soup. So how was it? The noodles were great, the soup needed more depth. Sawaii in the Inner Sunset has better soup, price, and overall bowl. This place has better noodles. The chasu was really dry, and the base bowl (for 11.95) left you wanting (most every topping was additional).
