I just finished reading through AMP: Year One. I have had the game since the kickstarter back in 2014 and looked through but this was my first thorough read through with thoughts of running it.  I like the X-men influences and that the game doesn't try to be all supers just street level characters.  There are plenty of interesting mechanics like the Law of Attractions which is why AMPs fight each other. The Loyality mechanics give a good structure on why a character acts they way they do and if they choose to ignore a good hook for the GM to use later.  The book is 254 pages which includes a nice shell of a world to play in and the powers that are available to the the AMPs. I'm looking forward to see what year three brings.  I am also planing on picking up Year two which I missed on Kickstarter.

I can see some custom box sets in my future.
At 3.36" x 11.96" x 9.19" it should hold most of the modules and rules books I am thinking of doing this with.

Last nights prep for Purple Planet after making a player handout booklet for players at the table to share and store information and making the die drop box I decided to try to make the gm screen. I went with three sheets of photo paper and used easy photo printer to take the over sized graphic and fit it on 3 sheets. My printer had an issue feeding the heavy and glossy photo paper so images aren't perfectly square but it wasn't bad. I then used two used two sheets of card stock to make the joints and glued it to the back of the photo paper. I followed it up with printed sheets of gm data on card stock and glued that on. It's not perfect but it show the awesome artwork at the table.

the PDF came with 84A, B, and C.  I need to cover for more 4 hour sessions before this ark ends and reboot in Lankhmar with new characters.  So depending how the first session go I may need to pick up the 84.1 I see on goodman site or drivethru now 84.1 and 84.2 in PDF for $6.99 I like the pdfs better so I can cut and paste stats to make notecards and print out player handouts easier.  though sometimes I spring for both print and pdf

Went a bit wild and decide to get the Original Dungeon & Dragons reprint box set. The box is really nice. The dice look good. The lithograph in the lid is snazzy.

I like mine a lot, enough that it makes me occasionally question why I need to hang on to my actual whitebox & supplements anymore.

Has anyone tried Cthulhu Abides? The PDF is free on the site and the book is cheap on Amazon. I've only read a few pages so far it seems interesting. A friend asked me about after reading the first 35 pages and then ordering a book.

C.A is fantastic , I'm ordering a copy this very night , I was very impressed , good 20 minute review on you tube worth a watch, The mechanics look great & I like the idea of the sanity system , I also think the rules will lend itself to other systems , I can't wait to start tinkering with it , the author dose have other things planned we may be able to get a hard backed version of the book & Jonathan also has other projects pipeline, using the same sort of dice mechanics .

Okay, I've backed The Black Hack it sounds interesting I see some people who make cool stuff linking to it.  But I would love to know a little more...

I see that at one point people where sharing the playtest around is it still available to see +David Black ?

The games is also up on https://www.kickstarter.com/pages/gamerati

Woke up this morning to somebody alerting me to yet another release by WoTC of Original D&D booklets.  This time the Greyhawk supplement.  I'm looking forward to next one because it looks like they are going in order and that is Blackmoor.

Washington is full of history, including many areas that once thrived but have since been abandoned.
