I can see some custom box sets in my future.
At 3.36" x 11.96" x 9.19" it should hold most of the modules and rules books I am thinking of doing this with.

Last nights prep for Purple Planet after making a player handout booklet for players at the table to share and store information and making the die drop box I decided to try to make the gm screen. I went with three sheets of photo paper and used easy photo printer to take the over sized graphic and fit it on 3 sheets. My printer had an issue feeding the heavy and glossy photo paper so images aren't perfectly square but it wasn't bad. I then used two used two sheets of card stock to make the joints and glued it to the back of the photo paper. I followed it up with printed sheets of gm data on card stock and glued that on. It's not perfect but it show the awesome artwork at the table.

the PDF came with 84A, B, and C.  I need to cover for more 4 hour sessions before this ark ends and reboot in Lankhmar with new characters.  So depending how the first session go I may need to pick up the 84.1 I see on goodman site or drivethru now 84.1 and 84.2 in PDF for $6.99 I like the pdfs better so I can cut and paste stats to make notecards and print out player handouts easier.  though sometimes I spring for both print and pdf

Woke up this morning to somebody alerting me to yet another release by WoTC of Original D&D booklets.  This time the Greyhawk supplement.  I'm looking forward to next one because it looks like they are going in order and that is Blackmoor.

Washington is full of history, including many areas that once thrived but have since been abandoned.

Going to be running Purple Planet at the next Tacoma RPG Day on Feb. 20th. Since I only have the PDF started putting together the props and handouts. Using my old Pathfinder beginner box set box for the Die drop crit. Next up the Players handout in booklet form and the final picture is the Book of handouts that is all the images you should show the players. I am looking at the GM screen now to see if I want to make a custom one or use the regular DCC screen. Then I'll start on getting all the Monsters and NPC on notecards. I'll probably roll up a fiew artifacts and make note cards for them to. So once a player figure out the item I can hand it over.

No actually they will arrive after going through the Intrigue at the Court of Chaos where the Minor Chaos gods will tell them how to use the Shards/Gem stones to defeat the Main Chaos god from Sailors of the Starless sea that has been hounding the party since they disrupted the return of his Avatars on the mortal plane.  They will arrive by Crawl Jammer so I am really not running Purple Planet as is

Playing around with the wizard created for Eldritch Ass Kicking I found on the old site.  He is very Melodramatic

Thy Wizard's Name: Fizzlelingdoo the Fresh
Word of Power: melancholy

----Speed: 9
Endurance: 5
----Life Points: 15
Concentration: 7
----Focus: 21
Magickal Skills
Fire: 5
Earth: 10

Background:
Fizzlelingdoo was born Henry Boringbottom and was the son of a tailor.  Fizzlelingdoo father worked for the wizard Dafidorling after the curse of the Anhelm wizards and the land was banished.  When fizzlelingdoo was born it was determine he has some magical gift and was put under control of the head mistress of Dafidorling school for Wizarding which wasn't really school just a private jail to make sure the young wizards didn't plot against him which was what they did being locked up after 12 years of being in the lock up Fizzlelingdoo escaped after blowing out half of the tower and killing most of the other students/prisoners.  Fizzlelingdoo took the new name to protect his father and so Dafidorling would never track him down.
Events:
Minor: to find a safe place to practice his magic and make a home.

Major: to confront Dafidorling and kill him to free his father
Eldritch Ass Kicking is the roleplaying game of "arcane action and old men with sticks". You play a wizard with uncanny, magickal power trapped in a distant astral realm. Will you use your magick to save your homeland, or will you scheme to conquer it? EAK is a brilliant 96 page book, ...
