Let us imagine that there is a brave group of Orlanthi, Grazer, Votanki and a Dara Happan thief merrily roaming around Griffin Island, causing mischief and looking for trouble. They've got the Windsword, they've made allies with the kings of the Citadels of Port Soldier, Surlt and Nidik, and royally pissed off everyone at Ockless, including of course Halcyon. 60 game sessions provide with ample chances of pissing people off.

So now the Orcs are in the Warpath (in my Glorantha Orcs only exist in Griffin Island as a very place-specific Chaotic creature), and a big warband is marching to Surlt. The Heroes have made several successful guerrilla actions to disrupt the Orcs' advance, and now they want to strike a killing blow: just before Surlt there is this big river that the Orc warband needs to cross to attack the Citadels. The PCs think something like "Hey, maybe we should heroquest to get the river spirits to help us and drown the warband as they cross!"

I think is a very cool idea, and definitely in line with Glorantha, but I am unsure about what type of HeroQuest would this be. As the PCs expect no permanent reward from it, I guess it's the "easiest" type, but I'm unsure.

How would yo go about it?

What would be the size of a votanki or balazaring tribe? How many orcs would be a threat to a tribe or clan?

Hey, good people, do you have any good online resource to find plans of Bronze Ages (either historical or fantastic)? I don't have the time to create a plan for the Vadeli City of the Slarges in Griffin Island, and as the players are neck-deep in shit in the highest tower of the city and probably in need of scaping (I can tell the story later if there's interest), having a map would be most interesting.

What do we know about slarges?

As usual, my question is pertinent to my current campaign. My players are looking for 7 arrows capable of piercing any magic, in the high place, where lizards live. Wandering around the wilderlands, and according to the Secret Map for the GM, they are around a huge lake called Lake Kta, and in the shores of the Lake, there's a Slarge City.

I didn't know slarges had cities, but well, they can use metal and forge it so it's not so weird.

So, what do we know about slarges? How would a slarge city be, at the shores of Lake Kta? With the Windstop going on, Sea Season shouldn't be as warm as usual, and lizards don't like cold. How many slarges will be there?

Is there any source material about them?

Wish me luck, you all, because in an hour I will run my players through our first HeroQuest, "How Firshala Broke Humakt's Curse and Babeester Was Born." I am sure I've done a zillion things wrong, but alas, players are arriving.
