Went to Schomp to lease and co-sign on a Mini a few months ago, not even thinking I would get approved. Our salesman Noah was excellent! He not only told us and showed us everything we wanted to know about the car, he told us about some of the history of the Mini which we never even knew that that car existed many decades ago - it was fun learning about it. Test driving was fun, and we knew we wanted a Mini, but after everything we were shown and told and driving it, we knew we wanted it even more! Noah knew every detail of financing and was with us every step of the way, from start to finish, answering all of our questions (and when/if he didn't know an answer, he sought it out without hesitation), providing us with refreshments throughout our time there. Everyone in Schomp was friendly and knowledgable, which I spoke to several people during my visit, and the atmosphere felt like a team-ship group. Thank you Schomp!

Congratulations, Tana! Noah's a gem - we're so glad you were able to have a positive (and totally thorough!) experience with him and the rest of the crew. Use your car well, and have tons of fun Motoring through the rest of the summer and beyond.

I had an amazing experience with Ralph Schomp MINI. Jessica Cattles was my sales advisor and she was amazing with everything. She was fast and efficient with the paperwork and getting back to me. We did everything over the phone because I live in Utah. Everything went smooth and she did her best to get me the best deal possible. She was also very kind and patient with all of my questions. She was amazing and I am so excited to pick up my car on Saturday! Thanks Jessica!

Poor customer service and the staff isn't as knowledgeable as they think they are. They moved to a new building that is out of walking distance from anything so if you don't have a ride and they don't have a loaner, you're stuck waiting on a 3 hour oil change. They were out of loaner cars and wouldn't even let me borrow one of their used cars to go grab food for 15 minutes. Ridiculous. Flashback to a year ago, when I was buying the car out of state from a used dealership, I called them and they told me it was under an extended bumper to bumper warranty until 100k miles. I confirmed this 3 times over the phone prior to buying the car and ended up buying at a price higher than I should have due to the extended warranty (car had 38k miles, so the long warranty was a big selling point). I bring it in for my first service and now suddenly the warranty only covers maintenance like oil changes. Now I'm upside down with no warranty and every time I get in the car I fear that there is going to be some catastrophic failure waiting for me. The car has already stranded me once, and then they had the audacity to charge me $400 for changing a fouled spark plug at 43k miles (spark plugs are a regular maintenance item at 50k miles). AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE THE PLAGUE. IF YOU WANT A QUALITY CAR GO WITH LITERALLY ANY OTHER BRAND.

D, would you mind emailing me at m.osborne@schomp.com? We obviously dropped the ball here, and I'd like an opportunity to make things right. Best, Mark Osborne (GM).

Fika was absolutely amazing and helped us find the perfect Countryman in exchange for our old car. Not only did she work her behind off to get us the best rate possible, which ended up resulting in a LOWER monthly payment than our last car, but she also was so much fun. I definitely would recommend coming to Schomp MINI because every car salesman is so kind and genuinely concerned about your satisfaction and getting you a great car.
Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Jordy, this is awesome - we're glad our "One Price. One Person." philosophy was able to work so well in this case and, in fact, save you money over your last car! Cheers to many wonderful miles in your beautiful new Countryman.

Decent enough. Took my girlfriend's Mini in for an oil change and they noted the front brakes needed to be done soon. They quoted me $340 to do the front pads. I didn't want to wait longer that day, but it was going back in the following week for warranty work, so I figured we'd address it then. Next time it was in they decided that within a week the rotors had gone bad and now they wanted $750(if I recall correctly). I told the service adviser that a week ago he'd quoted me $340(still had the printout) and he said that was impossible with the cost of parts. Then he offered to do just the pads for $390 and was surprised when I said no. How can you give people three different prices, one of which was clearly trying to rip them off, and then be surprised when they tell you no? Loaner was clean and well appointed and the porters were nice when picking up and dropping off. Found it to be a bit tacky that they had the nerve to ask for 'All 10s' on their survey, but we just didn't fill it out in the interest of fairness since it wasn't our service adviser who provided the pricing(was someone else making calls for him). All in all it was a typical moderately frustrating dealer experience.

Hi Everett, thanks for your business and feedback! When you'd arrived for the first visit, your brake rotors were a fraction of a mm above specification (runout and thickness), and we made the decision to let them "pass" in an effort to save you money. When you came back the following week, they'd fallen just below specification where, per MINI's guidelines, they absolutely must be replaced. Your advisor, Brady, discounted both pads and rotors down to $390 (versus $608, as quoted) in an effort to make things right. Our Service Director Bennett Moore would like an opportunity to speak with you directly, if that's ok - he can be reached at 303-470-1439. Please PM us for any add'l info. Thanks for your understanding!

After researching cars in a variety of price points for my urban commute and occasional highway driving, I decided to check out Minis. From the first online contact the service was extraordinary. My initial salesperson contact was Jessica Cattles. She was very helpful, timely and knowledgeable without being pushy. Not only did she help me virtually, suggesting models and stock items for me to look at, she set an appointment and met me at the dealership when I was ready to take a drive. The cars were great but after driving 4 on my first day, I didn't find what I hoped to in terms of options, color, price, model and performance. Jessica said she wanted me to love my car, so she researched and found other models for me to see and drive. I found my car and though my husband doesn't like me to say I love an inanimate object, I love the car Jessica found for me! The entire service department was friendly and helpful and the showroom very comfortable, attractive and well stocked with cars, accessories and beverages and snacks. The financing department (though I never actually saw them) was quick, helpful with various packages for borrowing to purchase. No wonder all the minis I see around town have Schomp insignia - the dealership and my salesperson were fabulous and I will recommend Schomp and in particular, Schomp Mini to all who stop and admire my beautiful 4 door hard top S.

Thank you so much, Shari. We're excited for you (and your new Hardtop!), and are glad Jessica was able to find you the perfect car. PS - it's totally OK to love an inanimate object. We all adore these cars, too :)

There is no better a car buying experience than can be found at Schomp Mini. Its more than pleasant at Schomp, its fun. Schomp has built an amazing team and brand/company culture. I specifically dealt with Nick Goulet in sales, and Brady in service. These guys both care about their customers and their customers experiences. They listen, they address my needs, wants and concerns and at the end of the day I am so pumped to drive a mini Countryman and bring it to Schomp for all of my service! Thanks Schomp, Nick, and Brady for an incredible car buying experience.

I bought a Grand Cherokee that was advertised with fender damage. I spoke with a salesman who said the fender was being replaced with a brand new fender and he sent a video showing the repair. I looked at it on a Saturday and inquired about the repair. Again I was told it was a new fender. I asked if there was any other damage and was told there was none. It was just the fender that was damaged. After hours of thinking about the purchase and looking over the vehicle with the salesman I bought it. After a week and 2 washes I noticed the drivers door had a 12 inch by 18 inch section that was painted a grey color instead of silver. I took it to a body shop and they said the door was damaged and poorly repaired. Said after the poor repair the door should probably be replaced. They also said the "new" fender was not new. Pointed out where a bolt was loose and it was polished so hard that the clear coat was burned off. I notified my salesman and got in contact with a manager. I drove from Colorado Springs to the dealership and the manager said they would make it right. I told them I was disappointed because the fender wasn't new but I was told it was brand new. In the end the body shop sanded the door down and put more bondo on it instead of a new door. Can still see where the line isn't straight but boy did they tell me how amazing it looked. The fender was not touched at all and still had a loose bolt and the clear coat wasn't fixed. In speaking with the salesman he found out the dealership was aware of the door damage and tried to fix it initially. The salesman was not aware of the door damage when he sold me the vehicle. The salesman and I walked around the vehicle numerous times and we reviewed the inspection report which had no mention of the door damage. I would have never bought this thing if these guys were up front with me. They did try to make it right and repair their first shoddy repair. It looked much better but I believe it is still just a band aid fix. Hard to spend this kind of money and not be 100% satisfied especially since the damage was not disclosed to me. I do think this was one of those 1 in 100 situations so I can't say I will never buy from here again but I can say I will look else where first.
