This isn't the first time Google has been a disruptive agent of change. Its Project Fi wireless service is, however, potentially one of the most significant.

Great article about "natural language generation," a type of AI.
Advancements in programming and artificial intelligence are creating "bots" that can write copy good enough to pass the scrutiny of a human reader.

Review of five encryption tools. I have tried BitLocker (incl with Windows) and 7-Zip. Both work perfectly for me.

For information on why you might need these types of tools, be sure to read the entire article.

Windows 10 is still under development and only available as a technical preview. If you are interested, read more about it here:

Amazon Cloud Drive offering really cheap storage: $12/yr for unlimited photos, $60/yr for unlimited anything.
Amazon is making cloud storage a whole lot more affordable. It's overhauling the pricing structure for Cloud Drive today to offer two unlimited storage plans — neither of which is very expensive....

Article discussing the high demand for tech employees. Also mentions a firm that helps you gain experience as an apprentice with local companies.
With the economy growing again, local demand for senior developers and other technology experts is heating up. Some employees say salaries need to rise to keep them in South Florida.

Amazing and touching Leonard Nimoy tribute from an ISS astronaut. For those of you who don't fully understand the impact of Spock's character (and Star Trek in general) on those in the technology, engineering, and science fields, here is a great article:

http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/leonard-nimoy-leaves-legacy-science-fiction-29281567

"Leonard Nimoy was an inspiration to multiple generations of engineers, scientists, astronauts and other space explorers," said NASA administrator Charles Bolden. "As Mr. Spock, he made science and technology important to the story, while never failing to show, by example, that it is the people around us who matter most."
“"Of all the souls I have encountered.. his was the most human." Thx @TheRealNimoy for bringing Spock to life for us.”

FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler proposes new rules for regulating Internet service (ISPs and wireless carriers) much like traditional phone lines and other public utilities. His full statement is in the attached article. For a summary and reactions from both sides of the political spectrum, check this article:

I am proposing the FCC use its Title II authority to implement and enforce open internet protections, banning paid prioritization, and the blocking and throttling of lawful content and services.

Be sure to watch the video in this article for demonstrations on what Microsoft HoloLens is capable of doing. Besides the cool holograms in your room or on your table, I think the best practical application in the video is the one showing a person receiving help for a plumbing issue. Amazing.
We just finished a heavily scripted, carefully managed, and completely amazing demonstration of Microsoft's HoloLens technology. Four demos, actually, each designed to show off a different use case...
