Does anyone have a good solution for porting GearVR apps to +Google Cardboard  in Unity3D?  I can copy the project, rip out all the Oculus SDKs, and replace them with Cardboard's--but that's not a long term solution.  I'd like to be able to switch between Oculus and Cardboard when I build the APK.  I guess I'll need an EditorScript to juggle the Plug-ins folder before a build.

In 2007 I tried to publish a 3D version of Exidy's old coin-op Venture on Verizon. Here's the pitch video.

My latest Gear VR project, Caldera Defense, should be on the Oculus store today.  I'm still refreshing the store to see when it goes up.
VRFocus reports on the upcoming release of Caldera Defense, a new tower defence title for Gear VR coming from LA studio FLARB.

There used to be a Guy Kazama sound board on a website somewhere that I truly loved. Worst voice acting ever!

+Ralph Barbagallo For some reason this comment was marked at spam (probably those pesky Google bots), so I didn't see it until now. I'll have to find this sound board and most likely waste way too much time playing around with it. ;)

Thanks for the review! Quick note, it does also support the pad. Use the 1 button to shoot / select, the l/r triggers to switch weapons, and the d-pad to navigate dialogs.

Thanks!! We're working on the design for the final version right now.

I was kind of confused when they first emailed me about these PC Engine Memories box sets.  I wasn't sure if it was a set of boxes to put your existing copies in or all new fan translations.  I guess it's the latter!  I fully expect them to get sued at some point.

Anyway, I had no idea Kaze Kiri (from the other box sets) was so rare--I loved that game when it came out and bought my own copy when I visited Japan 10 years ago.  I think I paid $40 for it?

+Ralph Barbagallo Yeah, there's a bit of a controversy regarding the fan translations used since the people who worked on them apparently weren't informed about it and a lot of people are upset about the situation, which is understandable. Not sure if PCE Works has addressed it or not, but it seems like they haven't, which will probably make things worse for them. It's cool you were able to pick up Kaze Kiri for a decent price--I'm gonna hold out until I can find the game at some 2nd hand shop for 108 yen...or 110, depending on how long it takes! (I'd probably jump at the chance to pay $40 for it, to be honest)

I use the case for the original Kindle Fire. Fits like a glove!

In the absence of a case/cover for Tango I've been using a tri-fold cloth diaper insert to protect Tango in my sling bag (don't laugh they're good for shaving towels too) but no longer, Glass's microfiber pouch appears to work well. :-)
