We didn't really plan for the Roundup to be all-World cup, all the time, but, well, what can you do. Would you believe that watching the World Cup makes your whole office more productive? Also, Nike is killing it on Facebook, stats on which countries' domestic leagues have the most players active and a rocking history of the World Cup soccer ball from The New York Times.

We're still reeling from last night's USA-Portugal match and gearing up to cheer on Mexico this afternoon. In the meantime, we've got the most popular teams and players on social media from the World Cup, brands newsjacking the USA game (with mixed results), world leaders cheering on their teams, and a fun soccer-themed typeface.
