This is a great airport. It's small, but comfortable, efficient, and all-around well taken care of. I love flying in and out of RDU!

An RDU police officer and TSA agent made traveling solo with a 9 month old easier. Very friendly staff and easy airport to navigate.

Modern and comfortable airport. Tsa very poor with just two officers. The line became huge. Also, moving walkways approaching TSA reserved for US citizens! Seriously?

Great new terminal. But they took the sings down as to which terminal is which. I had to circle several times just to find Southwest. They need to put up new signs.

American airline needs to better their service for flights. On Saturday I booked a flight for canada and first was told that crossing to canada needs a valid id and residency documents wich i had , but coming to the airport they asked my passport , and my passport was expired the ticket agent told me in front of my family member that i could get an emergency passport and show that i had a reservation on file to receive an urgent passport, so on monday morning i went to get my passport done and call aa lines around 7:00 pm . They told me to present myself to the airport so they could change my flight wich i did i got to the airport around 8 and the counter was closed i spoke to an as airline baggage service agent that to,d me to call back the number , and let them know that i had my passports. So out of all these inconvenience and hassle and hard time pretty much i got a ccs from aa on the line that told me that my file was still open but no notes on making a change to the flight and something that the airline agent at rdu airport should do .... No one sympathetic enough was available to help me through these ive spent time and money +gas money to do the back and forth movements. And all the effort still is treated worthless from the aa . ,They haven't done anything to resolve and it feels like they quickly ready to blame a custumor if that custumor needs help on a unexpected event .....they would be quick to bring a list of wha is allowed to receive help for unexpected event . The rest of unexpected event you're not allowed to receive help with that .. Im sure people forgot travel documents at home or made mistakes with bringing not all neccessary documents but , received a resolution to their situation without giving them trouble ..its an airport it happens ..This will feel So bad because of one thing is screaming out of this and its called "discrimination. RDU has always given me great flying experiences. Only once have I encountered an extremely long line at TSA and even then, it went fast and efficiently and I got to my gate on time. Its an easy to navigate airport with many options for food and shopping. Love having RDU as my home airport!

I love the new terminals; they're so beautiful, and most of the time they function pretty well (but for the lack of selection in pre-security stores and services). But NOW, we learn, the Airport Authority's answer to a complex parking issue is to... (ta-dah).... make parking MORE COMPLEX- and EXPENSIVE!- with their new premier, economy, standard, book online, buy insurance, etc, blah blah blah "options." Whose idea was this? Did someone need a job for a relative, so we made RDU parking even more of a hassle so that someone could be hired to handle it? Is this what happens when suits start taking "monetarization of our business assets" too seriously and forget that their main job is to operate a safe, clean, efficient facility IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST??? I'm used to driving to CLT to take advantage of some better airfares there; one of the side advantages is that parking is cheaper and better than at RDU. Recently got back from an international flight that terminated at Dulles because the RDU options were too expensive- and lo and behold, parking is cheaper and easier THERE, too! Bigger cities, more complex problems, yet easier and cheaper parking? I didn't have to worry about 37 options for booking online, or by telegraph, or what have you- just showed up and pushed the button for a ticket? Someone (or some Board of Directors) in the RDU organization needs to learn from bigger and better airports- or tender their resignation(s) to make way for people who know what the job is about. The terminal and facilities get four stars (beautiful, comfy, need more services). The new parking and management get two (morons). Hence, a three-star review seems to be a fair overall rating.
