HAPPY BIRTHDAY, !
To about the most generous, funniest, talented, smart man I know and the bestest buddy a girl could have! You are so many kinds of awesome and I cherish our friendship and our epic conversations. Have the best day and keep dreaming...
I really do use your lenses and do new stuff - and I thank you every day for them!
Another stunning sunrise outside my window...
This is a "stop the car when you see something" shot, photographed in Oregon while out shooting with my good friend a few months back. We saw this field of flowers, framed with grassy hills and a back-drop of pink clouds. We just had to stop and photograph it.
I'm getting much better at soaking in the moment and not letting it slip past ... I've missed too many photographic opportunities by just driving right past them on the road. And photographs like this prove that it is so worth the detour! I like to plan, but I also try to leave room for the "unexpected surprises". :)
• Canon 5D Mark III
• Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS lens
• 3-shot HDR, f/13 at ISO 100
• Processed with Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 ( )
• Final edits in Lightroom; I added a subtle gradient in the sky to balance the colors and reduce noise, and also one in the foreground to balance the colors separately from the sky. I also made a few adjustments to the tone and WB, as well as added a vignette.
They can be reached by flights of steps and beautiful arcades and arches add to the grace of the entire structure. There are thirty tombs in all among which the most significant are the tombs of the seven Qutub Shahi kings.
