Sometimes!

http://www.rahulphotography.com/index.php?showimage=240 #photography   #Egypt   #Poetry

Sometimes, I look back to see where I have come from,
look back to see if you made it.
Sometimes, I wonder what you would be doing now,
wonder if you still can see me.

Sometimes, I desire to go back in time,
and tell you everything thats on my mind.
Sometimes, I wish this is just a bad dream,
and it will be bright again with the sunshine.

Sometimes when I have fun,
I think about what all the things you are missing out.
Sometimes, I wish you were here,
And I wish on the stars that you are happy somehow.

The Dervishes!

A Dervish is someone treading a Sufi Muslim ascetic path or "Tariqah", they are most similar to mendicant friars in Christianity or Hindu/Buddhist/Jain sadhus. A group of Dervishes play drums and whirl in groups on sufi music. The dancers goes in some kind of trance state while whirling endlessly without wobbling even once. Sufi whirling is actually a kind of meditation and the belief is that that during the dance they disconnect from personal issues, desires and focus on God.
