I received some fantastic customer service and assistance from one of the store's employees, Halima. I had asked for $20 cash-back from a Self Checkout machine but left without taking my money, and only realized this over a half hour later. I returned to the store and asked Halima for help, and not only was she safely holding my money, she also stopped another customer from claiming it for himself. She was sharp enough to note down the transaction number on the Self Checkout machine, which is how she figured out the guy was lying. She did this even though she didn't know if I would be returning. When I did return, she asked for my receipt to verify my claim before giving me my $20 with a big smile. That's what you call customer service, not just doing your job but going above and beyond.

My girlfriend and I took a dinner break at this restaurant whilst driving back to Toronto from Bruce Peninsula. We were starving after a weekend of backcountry camping and Kettles was exactly what we needed. The place was absolutely rammed with people and we were made to feel very welcome even though we stood out like sore thumbs amongst the demographic. The food was delicious and served in very generous portions. Between the two of us, we had a hot turkey sandwich (doused in the most amazing gravy), corn, mash, garlic cheese bread, cream of mushroom soup and strawberry pie. My girlfriend fell in love with the butterscotch milkshake. The servers were friendly and courteous given how busy it was. Prices also very reasonable. Highly recommend this place if you happen to be in the area!

I got unlucky with my particular instructor. He was good at teaching, but his behavior was very unprofessional. He regularly broke the law by having more than one student in the car at a time. On one occasion, we were pulled over by a cop who spotted that there was more than one student in the car (I was in the back seat). After failing to argue his way out of a ticket, the instructor kicked me out of the car. I was forced to walk to a bus stop and make my way home, when my fees gave me the right to be picked up and dropped off at home. On the day of my driving test, he showed up an hour and a half late to pick me up. I had scheduled a 2 hour lesson before my test but he showed up so late that I barely got 15 minutes to practice. This made me nervous and I failed the test on that attempt purely because of nerves. After I wrote this review, the school did contact me and offered a sincere apology and a full refund. I do applaud them for that, and I hear great things about their other instructors especially Raza but my instructor was very, very unprofessional. It's a shame because he's a decent instructor and was pretty good at teaching stuff like parallel parking. But he needs to learn to adopt a more professional attitude.
