"Levada".

The show "Pasión y Duende del Caballo Andaluz" at The Royal Mews of Córdoba (Andalusia, Spain) is magnificent. The andaluz horse (from Arab ancestors) is a most fascinating animal.
Here classical horsemanship and high school are practiced.

Can't recommend enough this show if you visit Córdoba in  Andalusia (Spain).

Think I'll follow +Andy Spencer's recommendation.
‘In No Great Hurry,’ a documentary film about Saul Leiter.

“In No Great Hurry” follows the photographer Saul Leiter, who created painterly images of New York in color, when black and white still ruled.

A new addition to my photography library.
I just couldn't help buying this book edited in 2007 by the regional government of Castilla y León with the work from the great photographer Català-Roca shot in this region of Spain in the late 60's and early 70's.
It's amazing how these urban and rural landscapes are so close in time and so far already from our daily lives nowadays.
Landscapes from my childhood.

Seriously considering it. I'm all eyes and ears :)

Running around with the TCL-X100 teleconverter on the X100T in the hopes of getting a review online before we leave. Since there aren't any flowers, leaves are the next best thing! :)

+Rafael García Márquez We've had so little time that I couldn't get together enough material for a review. I'll try again once we're in the UK. :)

First shots of the year.
Morning walk to stretch legs and lens. An attempt to find my mojo. Kind of elusive later.
I thought it was me not getting used to the X100T, but it's just that I needed some rest.

Transfered to my #Nexus4  and edited on +Snapseed (monochrome) and VSCOcam from +VSCO

Yesterday I was invited to be interviewed at Mundo 2.0 in the radio show "Hoy por Hoy Madrid Norte" from SER Madrid Norte station. We talked about photography, Origami Collective and how do I face the challenge of telling stories from behind a camera.

You can read more and listen to the podcast (Spanish) in my blog.

I’m glad to announce I’ve been invited to join forces with the amazing group of photographers who contribute to Origami Collective.

For those of you who don’t know it already, Origami is a Collective founded by +Jorge Ledesma focused on Street, Travel, and Documentary photography. Its composed of various Official Fujifilm X Photographers and other Fuji X users from the globe.

Feel free to visit the site at http://www.origamicollective.com, my profile page, and peruse the essays that have been published so far. Expect my first one pretty soon.

I’m both proud and humbled I was invited. Thanks to Jorge and the rest of the collective for thinking of me. Couldn't ask for a better company to share with you all my stories.

Looking forward seeing what comes out of this.

Introduction
My name is Rafa García and I'm an engineer managing the IT Global Services department at Telefónica On The Spot Services.

I did not see it coming. Photography just caught me by the guts. From my first shots with a Kodak Instamatic 25 when I was just a child to now it's been a long road. A lot still to happen. In the mean time I enjoy the ride.

I can hardly put into words what I aim when I take my camera to my eye. I'm looking for images that show what happens in front of us every day, to show the fragility of those moments that will be gone before we notice. Stories, light and shadows, nothing less.

I shoot Fujifilm X-Pro1 and Fujifilm X-100T right now. Never owned SLR or DSLR gear before starting shooting X-Series.
Always shot compact cameras before. Keen of Ricoh compacts, and specially of my beloved Ricoh GX200.
