Milk Cubes

This beautiful cake love both children and adults, and is also ideal as a holiday dessert. I suggest that you don't replace butter with margarine because it is not nearly as good as butter. Enjoy the magic of chocolate and enjoy your meal ...

Ingredients:

Cake:
5 eggs
5 tablespoons granulated sugar
5 tablespoons flour
5 tablespoons cocoa
5 tablespoons lukewarm water
1 baking powder

Cream:
1 l milk
150 g density (cornstarch)
150 g powdered sugar
200 g white chocolate
250 g butter

Topping:
200 g milk chocolate
150 g butter
4 tablespoons granulated sugar
5 tablespoons milk

1. For the cake mix eggs, sugar, flour, cocoa, warm water and baking soda and pour into a greased and floured baking pan (mine is 20 cm by 33 cm). Bake at 170 degrees for about 20 min.

2.For the cream split liter of milk in two parts,  one part boil with white chocolate and sugar. In the second part of the milk scramble the cornstarch and pour it into the milk cooked  up and cook until thick as pudding. Allow the cream to cool until lukewarm, then add the butter cut into small cubes and mix until a smooth cream.

3. For the topping melt steamed milk chocolate with butter, sugar and milk and stir until smooth.

4. Baked and cooled cake split in two parts. Filling is best done in the pan where you baked cake and let cake remain in it until the cream is thickened  and the cake is ready for cutting.
Coat the bottom of the crust with half of white cream. Then pour the cream over the white half the amount of chocolate sauce. Replace with another crust and repeat the same procedure.

Leave in the fridge overnight. The best is when you cut the next day.

Enjoy:-)

I just bougth a netbook for my kids, an Acer Aspire One D257. It comes preinstalled with Meego a Linux distro ( it seems to be cool for kids but too basic for me ). I just decided to install #ubuntu.

First I tried to install Ubuntu creating a bootable USB key from my Mac, after several tries I gave up. The instructions in the Ubuntu Home page are intended to install Ubuntu on a Mac, not to create an installer from a Mac

Then I moved to a Windows XP net and after just 5 minutes I was able to create my USB bootable Key. To create a USB bootable drive I used http://goo.gl/hOkRf . The only thing you need to do before is just to download the Ubuntu ISO image and get a 2 GB free USB Stick then perform the three simple steps provided by the Universal USB Installer and in few minutes you will have your USB bootable drive.

The installation process from the USB is very straightforward, you need to enter to the setup of your Netbook and enable it to be able of booting from a USB drive, then restart and follow the Ubuntu installation process.

After the installation process everything worked perfect, including the wireless card and the built-in camera. I already installed #Chrome and Skype, and I even tried Angry Birds the Chrome version ( slow but worked).

Ubuntu is very complete and works well in ths kind of netbooks, it also coms with a version of Open Office and other cool stuf is available from https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/ .

Conclusion:
If you want to try something cool, give #Ubuntu a chance.

Looking for a healthy treat to get rid of that sweet tooth? These taste so amazing and are great for all you clean eaters!
 Fried Bananas
 Ingredients
 1 tsp coconut oil
 1 banana
 1 tsp water
 1 tsp honey
 1 tsp vanilla
 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Cut banana into slices as pictured. Mix together 1 tsp water with honey, vanilla, and cinnamon. Place coconut oil in a pan and warm it up on the stove at a medium-high heat. Spread the bananas out on the pan and after about 1-2 minutes, or when the bananas are looking browned and a little crispy, flip the bananas over. After flipping, pour the water/honey/vanilla/cinnamon mixture right over the bananas and turn off the heat. Let it boil for 30 seconds to a minute and remove from the stove. Serve this greek yogurt for a sweet treat!

Happy new year +Rafa Botero! I visited Medellín as a young child many years ago. Don't remember any details, but the story goes that the airplane was overloaded so my Dad and I rode the bus from Medellín to Loma Linda.
