is this the best restaurant in brighton? try it and see for yourself- if you love fresh seafood, innovative recipes and superb cooking- then it is a must for you. This place never disappoints whether it is for a romantic meal for two, a family occasion or even when i was here with over 50 guests for a work function- everyone had a great time. Good wine list too, and the decor and atmosphere is just right. The seafood platters, oysters and fresh daily specials are always good value , impressive and tasty. ideally located in the Lanes, close to bars, the only downside is that you cannot book, so it is pot luck if you can get in and it is always busy!

very average cheap and cheerful pseudo Italian eaterie- nothing authentic here. Mass produced often bland, but reasonable prices, only go here if you in a hurry in a big group and not bothered about a gourmet dining experience, there are far better Italian restaurants in Brighton

by far the best Indian in Brighton, maybe Sussex? Authentic and tasty dishes served as they should be, but some with a twist- no sloppy bland korma here or eye watering vindaloo rubbish. And the desserts are a genuine sweet taste of India- amazing. Highly recommended!
