This is an experimental recording of a disturbance in the earth's magnetic field caused by solar activity that occurred on June 22, 2015. The event was captured with an experimental magnetometer installed in an attic of a house in an urban environment. The instrument records data continuously which are then processed and compared (for confirmation) with those of scientific organizations official reference.
Interesting research (coordinated and validated worldwide) can be conducted by enthusiasts, scientific groups, schools, etc .. with equipment affordable for everyone.
