Our friends at +MAKE are hosting a Maker Camp right here on Google+! They'll be making 30 projects in 30 days - are you ready to be a happy camper?

Maker Camp, sponsored by MAKE magazine, is a virtual summer camp for teens, with a focus on creating, building, and discovering. We’ll be making 30 awesome projects in 30 days, here on Google+. Maker Camp is free and open to all, and runs from July 16th through August 24th.

Each weekday morning, a new project will be posted by an expert camp counselor who will walk campers through the steps to build the project. And each afternoon, campers can join the camp counselor in a Hangout on Google+ to talk about the project and look at photos campers have submitted. Then, tune in every Friday, when we’ll be taking campers on epic “field trips” via a G+ Hangout.

The best thing about Maker Camp: No registration required! Just follow MAKE on G+.

To get everyone ready, we will be posting four sample projects over the next week to give everyone a sneak peak of things to come. You can follow along at home and hone your maker skills in time for the first day of Maker Camp. Stay tuned for the daily posts and project instructions, and we will see you at #MakerCamp !

Really loving how RadioShack is getting back to focusing on the hobbyist/hacker/maker crowd again.

Thanks +Trenton Ray - we're working on getting some folks at RadioShack HQ to join a few of these camp projects, too.
