How to Weep in Public by Jacqueline Novak - A Review
Most things I review get positive reviews.  Some things do not.  This book is one of the "do nots". How to Weep in Public was SUPPOSED to be a funny book about depression.  I know, I know, not politically correct to joke about, but then I am not politically...

Rainbow Day was really fun. The first thing we did was talk about how rainbows were made. First I asked who made rainbows, and he knew God did, so I was happy about that. After we established who created rainbows, I told him that when rain and sun are out at the same time it makes a rainbow.

Dairy Queen in Stayton takes FOREVER to get your food. Which would be okay if they didn't get your order wrong and then refuse to replace it when you call and tell them they messed up, unless you bring in a receipt. Who keeps fast food receipts? Also, they are often having problems with their chocolate ice cream not working. I am NOT going to pay $4 for ice cream and not be able to get the kind I like. I still go because they are the only place that (sometimes) has chocolate ice cream in town, but I always call ahead and find out now. Also, they turn their drive-thru lights off WAY before they close most of the time.

Last year we got a furnace installed by Woodward Heating. They offered very competitive prices and were happy to answer any questions that we had. When it took a little longer to get our furnace installed than we had anticipated they brought us space heaters to use in case it got cold. This year we had an issue with the furnace and they were out to fix it the afternoon that we called. They worked with us on payments since we couldn't afford it all in one lump sum. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the men that installed the furnace were not as professional as they could have been. They were friendly and polite, but were smoking in our driveway without asking if that was okay with us. Hopefully we won't need another furnace for a good long time, but you can be sure that when we do we will definitely be going back to Woodward Heating.
