Barbara Lynch on working with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship:

"I've had the pleasure of being able to go to East Boston high and work with the seniors. They're getting ready to present their business plans. I had this wonderful young woman who was doing these Brazilian cakes, and her world was just going to stay in East Boston. Competition was in Somerville and Cambridge, and there was nothing really in East Boston. In 45 minutes, I changed her mind to go big. Value yourself! They were working off something on the computer where you punch the numbers in, and I'm like, 'Wait a minute. So you're going to go to the grocery store, then you're going to come home, and then you're going to cook. You're not going to fucking do it; you just can't. And you're not going to pay yourself. I'm sorry — where's your value? Where are you? It took a while, but she wrote all the information down, and then two weeks later I got the sweetest email from her. It just opened her eyes in terms of...don't put it in the same cups everybody else does. You are better than that."

Today on +Eater Boston:

 - A round-up of Super Bowl options for dining in, taking out, or getting delivery (http://boston.eater.com/archives/2014/01/28/you-can-eat-these-things-during-the-super-bowl.php)

 - A restaurant called Homage Bistro is coming to Cambridge. Some social media evidence points to a connection with Ten Tables. (http://boston.eater.com/archives/2014/01/28/homage-bistro-will-open-in-mystery-cambridge-location.php)

 - The next addition to the Strega family will be in the former Whiskey Park space in Back Bay, and it'll be a steakhouse called Strip by Strega. (http://boston.eater.com/archives/2014/01/28/strega-will-plant-a-steakhouse-in-back-bay-next.php)

 - Those who miss Uni alum Chris Gould can find him up in Portland. His restaurant, Central Provisions, is about to open. (http://boston.eater.com/archives/2014/01/28/uni-alum-chris-goulds-portland-restaurant-opens-soon.php)

 - The Roxy's Grilled Cheese brick-and-mortar location is still in the works. Its beer selection will be comprised entirely of cans, and there will be burgers on the menu. (http://boston.eater.com/archives/2014/01/28/all-canned-beer-at-roxys-el-centro-tres-opens-in-march.php)
