Warmer weather is the perfect time to start enjoying spring foods! Foods like berries, fresh fruits, cucumber, and baby greens help us feel light and fresh while at the same time helping to detox your system (spring cleaning isn’t just for the house people!) and create that summer glow! Enjoy! XO

Want to feel worthy? How can we practice courage, compassion, and connection? One simple example is by expressing our desires! This often takes courage because we can be afraid of rejection or of what people think! It takes compassion towards ourselves and the people who are wanting to love us. It of course creates connection with those around us. By expressing your desires, you are telling yourself and your community that you are worth it! THAT is cultivating worthiness! XOXOX

As you saw in my last video, I've been thinking about habits a lot lately! Mostly, I think about how powerful it is to take one small action consistently over time. Whether we want to or not, almost everything we do is a habit! And all of our habits are always taking us closer or further away from our goals. It might be grabbing a tub of cookies every visit to Trader Joes, or always taking the stairs at work. What is one habit you are wanting to change? For me, I want to practice siting up straight when I'm working!

Consistently taking baby steps, over time, leads to big results! Sometimes these baby steps might seem inadequate, yet as long as they are in the direction of your goals they are enough!

Happy Valentines Day wonderful people! I remember hearing this quote from one of my psychology professors in college, and it really struck me at the time. It is simply the remembering that we are loved, but so is everyone else, no matter our conflict with them. Spread the love this Valentines Day! XOXO

Self-love is so important, and it is not enough to just proclaim it, but we need to practice it! Just as you would show your love to another person, show your love to yourself even if the emotion is not there yet. Take the action and let the emotion build! Here is to owning your self worth!

This was another one of my favorite messages from The Gifts of Imperfection from Brene Brown. 'Fitting in' she found, was not the same as belonging, and instead of creating connection, it created self-abandonment. Let's let go of trying to 'fit in', and instead be ourselves, whatever that looks like, and from there we will create true connection! XO
