Always appreciate and enjoy +Ben Goldacre speaking on the subject of good and bad data, what real differences it makes to our society, and why it's critical that we get it right.

Researchers at Harvard University have created the first noninvasive brain-to-brain interface (BBI) between a human... and a rat. Simply by thinking the appropriate thought, the BBI allows the human to control the rat's tail. This is one of the most important steps towards BBIs that allow for telepathic links between two or more humans -- which is a good thing in the case of friends and family, but terrifying if you stop to think about the nefari...

Have you ever been to Burbank airport? Their fire exit is a strip of red carpeting running the length of the terminal. (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OjftCEBUcYQ/SIX03EercJI/AAAAAAAAChE/ibubNUrcUMg/s400/IMG_1832.JPG)

An ironic look at design.

Well, I know how I will design my next logo.  More handmaking!

Eh... Over priced and over hyped. Cocktail was off balance and the BBQ pork was too pedestrian.

Pretty hot and sticky inside. AC wasn't working, and the fans weren't really keeping up. Mini golf course was creatively set up (San Francisco themed), but the underlying architecture of each hole didn't leave much for creative or interesting golf.
