So I got Sling TV the other day and here are my first impressions..
-Just as expected, live television from the interwebz. I have basic Internet from Cox and rarely (if ever) do I experience lag or any network related issues. Some pixelation for a few moments until it truly buffers the video and everything is OK. Just wish it was HD, but it's decent.
-I don't have cable but I do have Hulu Plus and Netflix but before Sling I so missed Live Sport games. So having ESPN, ESPN2, and TNT for NBA games, I say $20 a month is so worth it. Plus Travel and Food channel for my guilty pleasure viewing.
-I wish the PC and Android app allowed true Full Screen. On PC for some reason when you try to invoke Full Screen, it goes full screen for a moment until the app realizes theres a cursor and brings up the channel guide (even if you don't move the cursor). On Android, it doesn't implement immersive mode, which hides the on screen navigation bar.
-If the app had Chromecast support, I truly believe Sling TV would sell like hotcakes. Hint hint.
