I don't know when I've laughed out loud so much (and still chuckling!) as when I viewed "A Man's Best Friend." And, woven so stylishly in are also the not-so-much-laugh-out-loud, tad more serious and wickedly entertaining moments, which have come together to deliver a gloriously unique little series. Rake's roller coaster ride scripts are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, and the episodes are getting better and better! It's not often we get handed such a smart, sexy comedy that so well delivers that huge and welcomed relief from all the crime, reality, fantasy and post-apocolyptic craziness now dominating our televisions. Rake is just a lovely, hidden little gem struggling valiantly to rattle its way out of the box (and Greg Kinnear is BRIALLIANT as Kee!!) .Remember how long Seinfeld took to find its "legs?" Well...Rake is good and obviously blessed with a very creative team of writers...so, Fox, please give this series a chance to breathe and grow its legs, because I believe, with a little love from you the network....it can!
