Humans of Quirk

"I grew up in the Bronx, New York, and I've always been a huge Yankees fan. When I was a teenager I played soccer in Italy and eventually got drafted to play professionally, but I couldn't because I was in the Coast Guard. I ended up in New Hampshire in 2000 when I was stationed at the Portsmouth military base. After I got out of the Coast Guard, I worked in international sales for Sig Sauer. I saw so many places during that time-Thailand, Indonesia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, I've been everywhere. After that, I worked for a friend's company, Goodfellas, doing executive protection. I was basically a bouncer, so I was the small Joe Pesci type alongside all of these tall, burly men. We'd take pictures and I'd be the smallest guy. I got hired at Quirk in sales in 2012, and got promoted to General Manager in 2013. I've been here ever since."

Everyone's favorite #VW  model just got five times more enticing:
Rare? Hardly—the Volkswagen Type 1 is nearly as numerous as the Coleptera order from which they take their nickname, Beetle. A ubiquitous feature of the motoring landscape of the ‘60s and ‘70s, these curvy-carapaced creatures survived well into the modern age, and are still a common sight around the world.

#FindOfTheDay  thanks to +VWvortex:
There’s just something indescribably right about a clean and simple Mk1.  Not to say that the big budget builds we’ve been seeing both at home and abroad aren’t impressive, but those done with a minimalist approach are able to strike the fine balance of fitting in with other traffic while still sticking out to those … More...

FIVE STAR ....Bought a beautiful new Passat from salesman Jeremy Lent. From the minute I walked into the showroom Jeremy was there to show me all the choices I had buying a new car. There was never any pressure to buy and he was so knowledgeable in all that VW cars had to offer. LOVE LOVE my new car. Jeremy went above and beyond to make this experience that most people dread, to be a seamless transaction.

I went here for a "great deal" on a gti lease. It was supposed to be 30 dollars a month cheaper than the competition, so I drove the 50 miles. Once I got there I got the typical salesman with the typical "I'm not gonna waste your time and give you the best price" and the "what can I do to earn your business". what I ended up with was a waste of my time and with a deal that was more expensive, that had less doors than that of other dealerships. Save your time and money and go to quirk in Braintree.

I traded in a Jetta sport wagon TDI to switch back to a gasoline engine. I traded for a Tiguan and absolutely love the car. It handles great, the salesman Jeremy was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He was not pushy at all, he just wanted to make me happy, which he did. I wish I had pushed harder with the finance manager to get a better trade in value since the TDi was sold illegally but that is my fault not theirs. They did there job well. A little too well! I left happy but ended up spending a bit more then I had hoped. The car doesn't have floor mats! I didn't notice that until a week later...again my fault not theirs but I would have thought a car with leather seats would have floor mats. I enjoyed driving the car so much I didn't think to look at some of the small details. Over all this is the second car I have bought at this dealership and I would go back again and recommend them. They are so relaxed and happy and not pushy at all. one of the best places I have bought a car in a long time. They have incentives for the TDI mess up which I was able to benefit from and got into a car I don't think I could have afforded without those incentives. As much as I loved the TDI jetta wagon I am happier being back in an all wheel drive vehicle after last winter. I like the higher clearance off the ground when driving in the snow. Thank you Jeremy Lent for making that possible!

Do not go here! My mother leased an EOS at Quirk. I believe the guy's name was Craig that she leased from. Not 100% sure his name. About a month after leasing my mother got cancer. She did not drive the car for a year due to her illness. When she was told it was time for hospice we went to break her lease with about 50 miles on the car. The staff could not have been ruder or less caring and unsympathetic. In fact they wanted nothing to do with us. Craig (car salesman) who was so nice when we leased the car wouldn't even give my sick mom the time of day. He brushed her off and sent us over to some jerk who was telling us it would cost $20k to break the lease. No one even acknowledged that she was sick. Instead they just tried to wheel and deal with us and give us the run around. Long story short my mom passed away last year and my dad dropped the car off. Now they are after him for money for her lease. Heartless staff!! They Were so rude after they made their sale!! I would never step foot in there!

Amazing service! After going through hell with Seacost VW in Greenland NH, I took my car here to be diagnosed and fixed. Within 2 quick hours recieved a call, and they found out what was wrong with it. Rick from service is AWESOME to work with!! He deserves a big raise, and the technicians who work on the vehicles!! I would give this place a 10 if I could after dealing with the horrible service at Seacost VW, I am now a HAPPY CUSTOMER at Quirk, and this will be my new place to go!! :)

Hated it. Not a happy customer at all. They definitely lost my business. They said they would get me a car from Quirk at Massachusetts but instead at the last moment the played me and told me they couldn't get the car and if they do it it would cost me 700$ more.although they had promise me earlier to match the price and get it to new Hampshire without extra cost. Ridiculous the sales guy name is John. Don't understand why everyone is giving them 5 stars. They must be their family members writing the review. And one last thing Quirk don't save you money at all as said in the catchphrase of their commercial.

I bought my Jetta in June of 2015, and it was one of the quickest car buying process I ever had. I did everything on line, and just came in and signed the paper work. They where all great, and answered all my questions and when I got there the car was pulled up and ready to go!!!! Also to add in, I just love my Jetta as well...I cant remember who sold me and my husband the car (Sean Stratton) but they did a wonderful Job!!!!

Peter Lee was really kind, it was nice to have someone who actually listens to what I'm interested in, what I'm looking for, can feel comfortable talking to and also feel able to easily keep in touch with about cars I had liked! Thanks for the great experience especially when I had a bad one at another dealer the same day.
