G+ General Help  -

Hello, Google+ Help moderators.

I really enjoy writing reviews for restaurants but I recently realized that several of my reviews were not accepted supposedly because they do not adhere to the Review and Photo policies as explained here: https://support.google.com/plus/answer/2622994?hl=en&ref_topic=2624941

I read through the policy and I believe my reviews indeed adhere to it. For reference, below are my reviews that were rejected. Could you please overturn these rejections or at least explain the decision? Thanks.

naanu . take&eat | restaurant
Pfingstweidstrasse 104, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland

Perhaps my favorite Indian (with a touch of Nepalese) restaurant in Zürich out of the few I've tried so far. I was satisfied with the variety of spices in the curries. I recommend ordering a variety of them and sharing family style. The prices are quite reasonable relative to the norm in Zürich.

Tavernaki Kalymnos
Motorenstrasse 25, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland

We had the hummus, octopus, and moussaka. All were excellent. They also had a small but unique selection of beers than what you typically find in Zurich.

Suan Long
Tessinerplatz 12, 8002 Zürich, Switzerland

This place is nowhere near what one would consider authentic but the food is actually pretty decent. The dumplings are especially excellent although they take 15+ minutes to make. Frankly if this place only specialized in dumplings it would be a 4 or 5 stars. But I suspect there just isn't enough demand for them or the owners are too scared of focusing too much on a single type of food. Too bad.

BTW, for reference, I asked the question to the local pages experts as you suggested: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/business/bFyAEIsyUXE

Fascinating history of jaywalking. Thankfully, there is a growing trend of cities realizing that local communities bond better with more foot traffic and less car traffic.

Fascinating history of the lobbying campaign that took streets away from pedestrians and gave them to motorists.
In the 1920s, auto groups redefined who owned the city street.

Amazing story and beautiful photo!

That's her LEM landing code threatening to fall over on her.
This is a great photo I just ran across on the internets. It said it was “Margaret Hamilton, Apollo program”, but it did…

She coined the term "software engineering"! How cool. That picture would be an awesome poster.

Navigating elementary school is already hard enough — try adding in a bulky metal hearing aid. Cece Bell's new young adult graphic memoir captures the experience in a poignant and humorous way.

Amazing story about a scoutmaster making a real difference in people's lives.

For 27 years, Romy Vasquez has been working with Boy Scouts in South Central Los Angeles, where, he says, it's easier to find a gang to join than a Boy Scout troop.

Wow I'm pretty embarrassed to admit I didn't know smart phones could play FM radio. Pretty stoked to get it on my Sony Z3 though!

I was thinking that my Z2 tablet has a radio app on it.  Yep, there's an 'FM Radio' app on it. :)  But I have to plug in the headphones to use it, so I never do.

Stop-and-Shake... what a great idea of how to build a healthy relationship between police and citizens.

In a speech last week, FBI Director James Comey addressed racial tensions between police and minorities. A new effort in his hometown of Yonkers, N.Y., tries to get officers and young people talking.

Cool place pretty good coffee. They get a bonus point for serving chai latte, which is quite difficult to find in Europe. Especially a decent one.

I checked this place out during their opening party this Monday and it looks quite promising. Finally a place to grab a decent espresso in the neighborhood. They also baked their own focaccia bread, with which they made tasty bruschetta. I look forward to trying out their regular menu. Then I'll come back and update my review.

My favorite burger place in Zurich. I dare say that it stacks up against some of the best burger joints in the States. One nice touch that pleasantly surprised me was the couple of variations of ketchup; one of which was spicy.

This is my favorite brunch place in Zurich. The omelets and pancakes are particularly delicious. Make sure to check out the weekly specials on the board. They don't take reservations on weekends, so I recommend either coming very early when they open or late (say after 1pm). With that in mind, you can ask if it's okay to wait for the next available table, to which they will likely reply yes. During the summer, they have outdoor seating, so they can seat more people.

This restaurant is a popular happy hour spot that is conveniently located near Bahnhof Enge. The outdoor seating is nice for a couple of beers and for those that enjoy smoking hookah. The food itself is pretty decent, especially the couscous with lamb. But the prices are just a little high for what you get -- 30 CHF for the lamb dish, and the ambiance indoor is not particularly memorable.

This is the cheapest way to teleport to the US from Zurich. The owner will heartily welcome you to his restaurant with charming New York friendliness (no, I'm not being sarcastic). The best parts: (1) the diverse beer menu with great variety including good IPAs, and (2) nice outdoor seating with live music. The food itself is hit or miss. Particularly good items are the pulled pork (available any day) and the fried chicken on Fridays.
