Diet-Microbiota Interactions: Gut microbiota-mediated changes in chromatin state are sensitive to host diet.

New research is helping to tease out the mechanics of how the gut microbiome communicates with the cells of its host to switch genes on and off. The upshot of the study, another indictment of the so-called Western diet (high in saturated fats, sugar and red meat), reveals how the metabolites produced by the bacteria in the stomach chemically communicate with cells, including cells far beyond the colon, to dictate gene expression and health in its host.

Geocacher, and Resistance Agent(same name for both). I love to travel. I am fond of ethnic food, and Andrography as well. A world traveler, and activist. Lover of photography, religions, and mobile tech, as well as Food truck & street food. I like to read books(yes that's right, actual BOOKS!) Which apparently makes me part of a dying breed. A shame really, such knowledge to be obtained through literature... T&F, politics, & Stephen King get me through the day. I bleed crimson & gold, Frisco style! A contributor to SETI@Home, HTC Power To Give, Einstein@Home, Boinc, and World Community Grid. Granola children, hippies, and free spirits are groovy in my eyes!

The best sports bar in Indianapolis, period! Dozens upon dozens of screens filled with sports of every variety and $3 drinks, plus you can smoke in the Oaks room(horse racing) and the $2 parking not to mention the 15 to 20 craft beers on tap on any given day.... Talk crap about this groovy ass establishment... Show us that you're a liar, or an idiot, please.

Quaint and kid friendly. An upper and lower dining room, with Andy Griffith on every tv upstairs.
