Bought a beautiful pre-owned 2007 RX350 here with an excellent experience. Everyone involved has been very helpful and efficient - manager Ahmed, Clarissa from internet sales, Brian and Pete from Services/Parts, and Jobelle from Finance. They asked a fair price given the nice condition of the car, cared a lot our feedbacks during test drive, and kindly offered several replacements/repairs that many other dealerships won't offer... In addition, they hold an extremely effective style dealing with problems: Save time, while no hassle/pressure at all.

We were at SFO and our "check system" light came on indicating that something was wrong with our tires. Putnam Lexus was the closest dealer and the took us in immediately. The service department checked the tires and they were fine, but the check system light was still on. They were able to correct the problem within a few minutes and we were on our way. I am writing to personally thank Zain and Maher in the Putnam Lexus service department for their exceptional customer service. Lexus prides itself on not just the superiority of its automobiles, but its outstanding service as well. Zain and Maher lived up to that expectation in spades. Not only were they exceptionally friendly, but they listened carefully to the issues I was having, were able to secure me a loaner vehicle, kept me well informed throughout the repair process, and delivered my vehicle to me on time and in line with the original estimated repair costs. This is the type of service that tips the purchasing decision in Lexus's favor when the time comes to get a new vehicle. I recently bought my 3rd Lexus and experienced the worst customer at this site, expecially from management in the sales department. Their lowest price was $4k higher than the other dealers in the area, and they said they were "giving me a deal I could not find anywhere else." I ended up buying at Serramonte, and got a call from Putnum a few days after offering to go lower. The salesmen here can not be trusted, especially some manager named Cesar, who hopefully is not there anymore.

We bought a used convertible and found out the next day that the top wouldn't go down. After contacting the dealership they were very helpful and polite in getting the issue resolved. I would recommend this dealership due to their fast and helpful staff.

I want to thank Mark Putnam for going to bat for me when my 2003 SC-430 top would not go down. The car had an extended warranty that had finally expired in August 2011. After that point, warranties are no longer available, and we were 8 months beyond coverage. For 10 years, the car had performed magnificently with only minor warranty issues, and only has 40,000 miles on it. (My daily commute to work is less than 4 miles round trip) Before we knew about the extent of the damage, while we were waiting to get the estimate, we had purchased another certified LX-570. The next day when we were given the estimate to repair the top, we were told it would cost $11,800.00!!! We had just given them almost that much as a down payment for the LX-570. We were very concerned about being able to afford getting the SC-430 repairs. Needless to say, we protested. We even called Lexus customer service 800 number. A couple of days later, we got a call from Mark Putnam who thanked us for having been loyal customers, (This was our third Lexus from Putnam) and assured us that the cost to repair the top would be ZERO!!! Thanks Mark, and thanks Lexus.

Bought an RX350 here today and working with Dan Vlardi to get the deal done was a pleasure. We reviewed the models that were in the running, and once we had picked the RX350 (again), he took us through our options, including new, used, and certified. We got a great deal on the car we wanted, and no one tried to get us to buy the rust undercoating... My compliments to Putnam for having a sales team and financing manager who know their stuff and don't screw around.

Their service department told us that we needed over $2,000 in repairs to our Lexus with 77,000. We then took it to a local automobile dealer who showed us the supposed "worn" parts that were perfectly intact, and not worn. Be careful - we no longer trust the staff at Putnam Lexus.
