This was a small rear garden we completed in Hayling Island, the client brief was very simple it had to be as low maintenance as possible. We decided to use Indian sandstone paving and artificial turf, both offer a minimum amount maintenance. To add a bit of height and interest to the garden we installed raised beds around the perimeter of the lawn, these are topped with a weed membrane and decorative aggregate and once planted will offer some additional colour to the garden. #haylingislandgarden #artificiallawn #pureinspirationltd #hampshirelandscaping #indiansandstone

This was a recent project completed in Whiteley, the client brief was to create a garden that was dog friendly and suitable for entertaining whilst also dealing with the poor drainage, the existing garden was mainly laid to lawn, sloping from the back of the property to the rear boundary. We decided to terrace the garden, with the upper level being laid to artificial lawn and scree style boarders, for the lower level we used black Indian limestone with black resin point. Discreet drainage channels where used to take away surface water which took care of the poor drainage. The planting was purposely kept quite simple, the colours where limited to flowering whites and blues along with evergreen climber and shrubs with a good mix of scented plants, with the addition of ‘In-Lite’ lighting and the stainless water feature its a real treat for the senses in the evening. #whiteleygarden #gardendesign #artificiallawn #blacklimestone #landscapedesign #hampshiregardendesign #pureinspiration

This is a project we completed back in the summer, the client brief was to create a garden maximising the limited space. The existing garden was mainly laid to lawn with a gentle slope leading up to the rear boundary fence line. With this in mind we decided to create large lower area using long diagonal lines running across the garden to create a feeling of width and built-in seating with raised planters saved space. The paving used is sawn Indian sandstone which has been filled and honed with contrasting blue engineering bricks. The raised beds and seating area have been constructed with matching bricks to the property giving some continuity.#hampshiregardendesign #southamptongardendesign #courtyardgarden #pureinspiration

This is a project we have recently finished in Southampton, with the use of good natural material and lighting we have created a garden that can be used and enjoyed year round with out too much maintenance. The paving used is Indian sandstone which has been filled and honed, this gives the surface a smooth finish. The raised beds and seating area have been constructed with fresh sawn green Oak timber which has been treated with a dark grey wood preservative, this works really well with the vibrant green of the artificial grass used for the seat. The garden already benefited from a large Camilla in the bottom centre of the garden which we re-shaped, with this in mind we wanted the new planting to compliment the large shrub, this has been achieved with topiary box and yew for the structural planting and colour from shrubs like the Crinodendron with its scarlet red flowers, the variegated leaves of the Photinia and the red fruits of the Arbutus. Once planted the beds were covered with a weed membrane and plum slate, cobbles and boulders were added to enhance the planting. To finish the project two different product from ‘In-Lite’ lighting were used, down lights were installed around the raised bed and steps with spot light being used through the planted boarders.#gardendesign #gardendesignsouthampton  #in-lite #indiansandstone   #pureinspirationltd

The client brief for this project was to create a space that was family and pet safe but also to create a garden which can be used through the warmer months for bbq’s and entertaining. With the use of simple flowing lines and large areas of solid colour we have created a space thats fits perfectly to the clients brief. For the two areas of paving we used yellow Indian limestone which works well with the brick detail over the windows and doors. The lawn was laid to artificial turf which keeps maintenance to a minimum and also make the garden usable throughout the year. The beds and boarders have been planted with mainly flowering evergreen shrubs which offer year round interest, the beds where then covered with a weed membrane with decorative stone aggregates too again keep the maintenance to a minimum. #indianlimestone   #artificiallawn   #gardendesign   #gardendesignhampshire   #pureinspirationltd

The clint brief for this project was simple to create a low maintenance, child friendly garden with outdoor entertaining in mind. The garden suffered form large mature trees from the surrounding properties, although these added privacy to the garden the existing lawn was suffering. With the client brief and site conditions in mind we created a garden with a real sense of space using long soft curved lines and large bold areas of colour. For the paved areas we used random patterned yellow Limestone edged with contrasting grey, natural stone setts, this was brought together with dark grey resin pointing. The lawn was laid to artificial grass to combat the shade given be the neighbouring trees, the boarders where planted hardy flowering shrubs to add colour and interest throughout the year. The client know has garden which can be enjoyed year round with minimal maintenance.   #limestone   #artificialgrass   #gardendesign   #gardendesignhampshire   #artificialgrasshampshire   #landscapinghampshire

With the use of good natural materials we have created a space that works well together, with the stream starting from behind the retaining wall at the higher level running down to the large pool this helps connect the garden. Green Oak timbers where used for the retaining wall to soften the look and once weathered will tone down I colour. #landscapinghampshire   #waterfeature   #pureinspirationltd

Indian sandstone drive and boundary wall
This recent project in Hedge End transformed the frontage of the property, the client brief was to create extra parking whilst adding to the ascetics of the property. We chose natural sandstone paving with contrasting sandstone edging to break away from the norm of block paving or tarmac. As with any front drive drainage had to installed a simple drainage channel plumbed into a soak away conformed to building regulation. The boundary brick wall was re-instated with a plum slate boarder to add some shape to the area.
