If you love stories about space and want to know how it feels like to be an astronaut grab this awesome new book by our friend Ariel Walman! We’ve already put in our pre-ordner and can’t stand the wait to get our hands on the first few issues :)

This super detailed graphic from 2012 displays over 200 space missions to our neighbours in the solar systems. It is awesome to see what science has accomplished in the past decades! What do you think: Which objects will we visit in the next 25 years?

This is awesome! If you take a close look at this picture of the moon you can find the shadow of the International Space Station as it transits at roughly five miles per second! :)

Yesterday we had a visit from The Verge at the Detroit Motor Show. We talked about the Audi Lunar Quattro, the Google Lunar XPRIZE and the reasons for landing at the Apollo 17 landing site. The result is this nice video, so don't miss to watch it and to leave a comment! :)

We also would like to thank all of you for the positive feedback on our work and the newest Prototype ALQ-01! You are great! :)

We want to start the new year with the release of our new company blog and a post about 6 space related TED Talks. Our team member Karsten hold one of them at the TEDx Event here in Berlin in 2015 and talked about "Space exploration for everyone". :)

Soon you will find articles about space, mission updates and for example information about our US tour on blog.ptscientists.com. Stay tuned! :)

This September our team member Karsten was a keynote speaker at TEDxBerlin with his talk about „Space exploration for everyone“. In general the TED Network is a awesome network to hear inspirational and interesting talks about a variety of topics. Among the thousands of presentations there are ...

Have you been to an exhibition lately?
If you feel the wish to visit one about the journey to the moon, than have a look at this great project from the Texas Archive of the Moving Image. They selected several films of the Apollo Program from the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston and assembled this great online experience! :)

Congratulations to Blue Origin! They just launched and landed the same New Shepard suborbital rocket the company flew and then landed back in November. Great work! :)

The landing spot for our Mission to the Moon will be the area in which the Apollo 17 mission was conducted. This area is especially interesting because of its geological properties and the remains of the last manned exploration of the moon surface. What are the results of more than 50 years of space radiation on e.g. the famous Lunar Roving Vehicle?
The Apollo 17 mission is very interesting in itself and provided the biggest scientific value and therefore you should definitely check out this page: www.apollo 17.org. It features over 22 hours of video and 4200 pictures and is just mind blowing! :)
"When I left the Moon and started up the ladder, I was really at a loss. I didn't want to leave and I looked down at my last footsteps and realised I wasn't coming this way again. Looking back over my shoulder at the Earth had a particular significance to me – it was alive, it was moving, ...

Let’s welcome the first prototype of the new Audi Lunar Quattro!

The result of years of research and development was just unveiled at the Audi press conference at the Detroit motor show and is aimed to be the pre-cursor for the final flight version soon to be send to the moon. It was a great honour for us that Eugene Cernan Astronaut of the Apollo 17 mission introduced our rover and it's future Mission to the Moon!

The new prototype designed, manufactured and build together with our friends at Audi just finished it's final round of assembly and is now taking it's baby steps into the life of rover prototype aimed to be the pre-cursor for the final flight version soon to be send to the moon!

Last week our college Karsten hold a talk about 3D printing on the moon at the 32c3 conference. He talked about the possible uses of the moon dust (called Regolith), the different approaches to use it for 3D printing and how we want to conduct the first printing process on the surface of the moon. Check it out!
