We will be finalizing our nominations for the 2017-2018 Board of Directors on Friday, February 24th. If you are passionate about Penn State and PSUCenTex, we encourage you to contact us to discuss our available leadership positions. Strapped for time? We also have low-commitment volunteer opportunities available, many which can be handled online.

The Central Texas Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Assn. is teaming up with the Texas Stars Hockey Program for an all-ages family night on Saturday, Jan 28th, as the Stars take on the Bakersfield Condors at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

+Penn State Alumni Association, Central Texas Chapter would like to congratulate Emily Strang, our 2016 Scholarship recipient. In recognition of Emily's academic record and community service, she has received a $1000 scholarship for her 2016-2017 +Penn State University tuition.

Emily is a Hays County native and a sophomore at University Park majoring in Biobehavioral Health. She contributes to several noteworthy groups and associations, including the +American Red Cross, Global Brigades, +Rotary International, and the Premedical Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta. She hopes to continue her education after Penn State in a Physician Assistant (PA) program.
