Looking for a house cleaner? Look no further. House 2 Om is a great choice! I've used them three times in the past year and a half to do a full house cleaning. Each time they have been excellent! They are fast, thorough, and reasonably priced. I'm going to try out their regular maintenance service next. I'll keep you posted.

How to prevent traffic lanes in your carpet!
Most of us have them.  That dull gray area on our carpet where we tend to walk the most.  In front of the couch, going into the kitchen, coming in from the garage.  Because we walk on these areas more, the soil build up is heavier that other parts of our carpet.
If you want to prevent them, the single best way is to not wear shoes in the house.
I know, it’s almost impossible to get your family to follow along and consistently do this.  But it works!  We visited a long time customer yesterday to clean their carpet after they moved out.  We hadn’t been there for three years since the last cleaning.  Usually when we enter an empty house, the first thing we notice is all the traffic lanes.  When all the furniture is gone, traffic lanes are very obvious.  It took me a few minutes to figure out what seemed odd about this house.  Then it hit me, no traffic lanes.  They had the usual spots and dust in the corners but not one single traffic lane.  Even in front of the couch.  It turns out, they never wore shoes in the house.
The alternative to removing your shoes is to have us apply a carpet protectant once a year.  This needs to be done before you develop traffic lanes and needs to be done regularly throughout the life of the carpet.  Protectant won’t prevent traffic lanes from developing but it will allow us to clean them out at each yearly cleaning.
Give us a call if you want more information.  We’re happy to come out and evaluate your individual situation and make some recommendations.

Reminder: Turn off sprinklers for the winter season!

An easy way to remember to turn off your sprinklers for the winter season is to do it at the same time you move your clock back an hour when Daylight Savings Time ends on November 2nd.  This is also a great time to check the batteries in your smoke detectors and your carbon monoxide detector.

The only thing I knew about Professor Pyle's Carpet Care was that their label was on a bottle of carpet cleaner that was left behind at the house we recently bought. After a year of painting, small construction projects, two dogs and a lot of kids and adults coming in and out of our house on a daily basis, it was time to clean our carpet. Since the cleaner that was left behind did a great job on miscellaneous spots, I decided to give Matt and Professor Pyle's Carpet Care a chance to clean our very old, "white" carpet. I was so happy with the job that was done. Matt and Philip were very professional, and they were very pleasant to talk to and to have work in my home. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will certainly be calling again when my carpets are again no longer white.

I've known Matt, the owner of Professor Pyle's Five Step Carpet Care for over a decade. From the very beginning he impressed me as a businessman determined to develop a professional carpet care company. Every aspect of my interaction with Matt has been top notch. He does my carpet work and also has for many of my real estate clients, always an excellent result. He'll take good care of you.

As a Realtor, it is important to partner with people you trust will treat your clients with the same care you do. I have been using Professor Pyles carpet Care for many years, at my home and my clients, and they have always been impressed with the service and results that Matt and his crew are able to provide!

My experience with Professor Pyle's was great. My couch looked brand new and had no lingering chemical odors or residue. Being a mom of three young kids, that was important to me. In addition, my representative - Eli - was very professional, and courteous. Even when I asked him 101 questions about the products that were being used in my home, he proved knowledgeable and answered me patiently. I was thoroughly satisfied with the upholstery cleaning. I would definately use their services again!
