Fans of Processing Orlando might be interested in the following announcement from our friend David Rogers:

========

The Iron Yard, an immersive coding bootcamp (http://j.mp/theironyard), is opening in Orlando!

If you're interested in launching a career in web development, this 12-week program that trains and mentors students to become professional web developers, might be the place for you!

The Iron Yard is offering $500 scholarships toward tuition to celebrate their inaugural Front End Engineering (http://j.mp/theironyard--frontend) class starting September 22nd. More information on the program is on TheIronYard.com (http://j.mp/theironyard) and in this FAQ about the classes (http://j.mp/theironyard--faq). For additional information, including a $2,500 scholarship from Code School, contact the Campus Director, Sarah Elbadri, at sarah.elbadri@theironyard.com or (407) 358-6683.

Learn to code. Life's too short for the wrong career.

César Munhoz likes it now. Working with creative teams in Journalism and Advertising since 1999, he developed a narrative identity that is both didactic and chaotic, in sound, video and body. He did not come from Brazil looking for the malls, was an Orange County pedestrian resident during the year of 2013, and found a Masters Degree in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University. Tonight, he broadcasts, directly from the living room of his parents’ place a brand-new piece created exclusively for this meeting of Processing Orlando, something he describes as “a regular TV show, with ads and all, you know…”. You and me, here and now, César Munhoz and “Truth is rape if it ain’t consensual.”

What: Processing Orlando Meetup: César Munhoz
When: Tuesday, February 25th, 2014 from 7:00pm-9:00pm
