So 2018 you’re here!

I remember writing a similar post on 28th December 2017. But then I searched for it on 1st January 2018 and couldn’t find it. I did save it.

Since I’m lazy and my laziness continues into 2018, I didn’t want to write another one, but....

Then I thought if it’s still a New Year after the celebrations of 31st ends? Seems like just another day?

Anyways, here’s an update on 2017 New Year resolutions:

1: Still not a published author. But read some books that convinced me that Amazon is to be blamed for the third degree torture it is supporting by allowing any or everyone to publish. Some people seem to be publishing first drafts. My lazy side is tempting me to do the same. :D

2: Didn’t go for any walks. I have a good reason not to. Which I will not be sharing as sharing your personal and private lives on social media as if the entire world gives a ** is not caring at all. You & I are not celebrities so believe that no one wants to know.

That doesn’t mean people are insensitive or mean. But It's possible some or rather a lot of us are using social media to escape almost identical issues.

3: Read too many books, instead of cutting back on them. Since there’s nothing personal or private about this, I’d brag – the number of books I read in 2017 is 98. Just short of a century.

4: Managed to get into the habit of meditating for 20 minutes daily. 30 minutes remain elusive. But this experiment wasn’t a total fail.

5: Didn’t write every day because of what I don’t want to splash online, but started just before the year ended. At least it provided some peace of mind and a couple of finished work.

6: Yay! I drew every day.

The biggest 2018 resolution: Keeping new resolutions or goals under wrap. As per 2017 new year resolution analysis report, I have a better success rate when no one knows.

So I’m planning to brag at the end of 2018. Hopefully, there would be something to brag about. ;)

Try your best to make 2018 a wonderful, healthy and productive year for you. Best of Luck & a very Happy New Year! :)
