The month of December is such a delightful month in New Orleans!  We always have so many things going on year round and December does not let us down!

There are hotels across the French Quarter having lighting ceremonies, along with the wonderful lights at Jackson Square!  We have Christmas in the District at the Convention Center, Celebration in the Oaks at City Park, The Krewe of Jingle Holiday Parade.....  and oh so much more!

If you are having a hard time deciding on a good time to visit New Orleans, we highly recommend the month of December!  It is a beautiful, awe inspiring place to be for the holidays!

There are many occasions when people take for granted the beauty in which they live.  We know when people come for Mardi Gras, they have asked, "Man, what is it like to LIVE here!".

We suppose people who have access to Disney World all the time, probably don't see Disney World as we see it when we go....

This past weekend, we spent a little time in our famous New Orleans City Park!  While walking around, it almost felt like uncharted territory.  We actually stopped and thought, "Why have we not done this sooner? or even every weekend!"

New Orleans is kind of like Disney World..... in a manner of speaking.  There are so many fantastic things to do and see and just take in, that there truly is never enough time!  If you planned it out, and did just one thing each weekend or even two, by the time you did everything, you will have forgotten how great that very first thing was!

Check out some photos we snapped this weekend and on your next trip here, take a little time out of your "French Quarter" time and pay our beautiful park a visit.......

The Nation's First Downtown Outlet Center is NOW OPEN in downtown NEW ORLEANS!

Yesterday, The Outlet Collection at the Riverwalk in New Orleans opened its doors!  They are welcoming guests to shop at some of the nation's most beloved brands in the heart of our great city along the Mississippi River!

On opening day, there were over 75 places open for shopping or eating!  This is a tremendous asset to our Great City!  Anyone staying in our city will be able to walk to, take a streetcar or a cab....  to SHOP!

This a HUGE step in the right direction for our city and we cannot thank The Howard Hughes Corporation enough for believing in us and the culture of New Orleans!

Here are just a handful of the stores that are in the new 2 story outlet mall:

Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio, Coach, Lucky Brand, Loft Outlet, Fossil, Areosoles, Forever 21, Tommy Bahama Outlet, Dressbarn, NYS Sunglasses, Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill, MOOYAH Burgers Fries & Shakes, Poppy's Time Out Sports Bar & Grill.....   The list goes on and on!

So come on out and check out our newest addition to the great City of New Orleans!

Of course, we were there for the opening, and wanted to share just a few pictures with you, so you know what you have to look forward to if you have not already made it out there!

There are so many things to do in our fine city of New Orleans, that it is almost like Disney World.....  You have to come back several times, because surely you cannot take it all in, in one trip!

We walked around yesterday, just taking some photos from the hip.  While doing this, we yet again realized how wonderful it is to live in New Orleans and have access to the French Quarter at any time!

We truly hope you enjoy these photos and that they entice you to and stay a spell in our beautiful hotel and enjoy our beautiful city!

They will be serving up their famous martini's along with their fabulous food!  Also, Tony Seville will be playing!

So if Fright Night is not your thing, but you still want to get out, come on over and listen to some great Jazz & Rhythm & Blues!

October, such a wonderful month to visit New Orleans! As always, there are so many things in so many genres going on at any given time of the day, but during October, there are so many things that are HALLOWEEN related!

With New Orleans having such a fantastic history regarding ghosts and vampires, where better to spend the month of Halloween! If you are staying with us, before you go out and enjoy all the Halloween fun, be sure to stop by and have a cocktail or cocktail and dinner at The Bombay Club!

Enjoy a phenomenal Martini and live music tonight from Monty Banks and later on in the evening, Luther Kent!  Check it out!
