Apple Watch Series 4 brings new design and a larger display

Today at Apple's highly-anticipated iPhone reveal event, the company unveiled its Apple Watch Series 4 with a larger display and major design overhaul, since its debut more than three years ago.

Apple Watch Series 4 is the first actual redesign of the watch since its debut, and while it is not a massive overhaul in terms of looks, it is still a significant upgrade over its predecessors.

The Watch's screen now goes nearly edge to edge, thanks to a larger display with rounded edges. There are now two new sizes, 40mm and 44mm, and the larger display, which means more screen real estate on your wrist. The new screens are 32% and 35% larger than the previous versions, which lets watchOS 5 to show more information on the screen and gives additional breathing room for apps.

Valve accidentally reveals Steam.TV - a competitor to Twitch live streaming platform

This Friday, Valve has accidentally debuted a Twitch-like live streaming platform called Steam TV. While testing, Valve accidentally brought the site Steam.tv to live for a brief period of time, showcasing a stream from Valve's own annual Dota 2 tournament, The International 2018.

Shortly after going live, the site was pulled and left with a blank page. During the time the site was live, it had the message "Welcome to Steam.tv", and featured a live broadcast of The International 2018.

Although Steam.tv was live for a short time, many have identified features that are similar to Twitch. The stream featured chat integration, and logging in with a Steam account gave the options to easily create group chats with people from the friends' list. However, there was no ability for users to start streaming their own games for others to watch.

Apple removes Group FaceTime From iOS 12, says it will come later this year

Apple removed Group FaceTime feature in the latest iOS 12 Beta 7 and the company says it plans to bring the feature back later this year. The Group FaceTime is designed to allow up to 32 people to chat together at one time via FaceTime audio or FaceTime video.

Although Apple has not revealed its reasons for removing the feature from the latest beta, it looks like the company just wants to keep tweaking the formula a bit. Pulling the feature from the beta process must mean Apple wants to iron out a few key elements in its final stages.
