T-Mobile MVNO Walmart Family Mobile has improved its prepaid plan offerings ones again. This time, Walmart Family Mobile increases data on the $49.88 and $39.88 plans. The $49.88 plan now includes unlimited 4G LTE data instead of previous 15 GB of high speed data allotment. The $39.88 plan has received 3 GB of additional data so this plan now includes 9 GB instead of previous 6 GB.

The rumor that T-Mobile will increase data depriorization threshold to 50GB has been confirmed. T-Mobile yesterday announced that starting September 20, 2017, carrier will throttle data speeds in time of network congestion when customers reach 50 GB. This increase is a big improvement over previous threshold, 32GB.

MVNO Red Pocket Mobile has improved its $10 Essential plan. Couple of weeks ago, when carrier altered most of its prepaid plan offerings, the change on the $10 plan showed data increase to 500 MB only to quickly bring it back to the old 100 MB data allotment. This time, officially, Red Pocket increases data on the $10 Essential Plan from 100MB to 500MB. Apart from 500MB of data, the $10 plan includes 500 voice minutes and 500 texts.

MVNO Rok Mobile that operates on Sprint, Verizon and AT&T networks has ones again altered its prepaid monthly plan offerings. This time, Rok Mobile changes Verizon based plans, making some positive and some negative changes, unfortunately.

Moto X4, Motorola’s latest smartphone announced last month, might get an Android One version. Image shared by @evleaks on Twitter shows the back of Moto X4 with Android One logo below Motorola’s branding. Other details on Android One version of Moto X4 are missing out but earlier reports also from Evan Blass on VentureBeat (@evleaks) reveal that new Project Fi’s phone might just be the Moto X4.

T-Mobile MVNO Lycamobile made some changes on select plans. Lycamobile increases data on the $35 from 4 GB to 5 GB at high speed and on the $45 plan from 5 GB to 7 GB of high speed data. The carrier has also lowered the cost of the $55 unlimited 4G LTE data plan for $5 per month so now for unlimited high speed data on T-Mobile’s network, customers need to pay $50 per month.

Two prepaid carriers, Boost Mobile and H2O Wireless, have started offering new Family Plan promotions. Sprint’s prepaid brand Boost Mobile is running a new promotion for port-in customers in which is offers two lines for $50 per month. AT&T’s MVNO H2O Wireless, however, starts multi-line offerings for new customers only with each line for $25 per month.

Sprint and Verizon MVNO Rok Mobile has ones again become a reseller of a GSM-based service. Just like previously announced, the carrier has started offering GSM plans recently on “the Nation’s largest GSM Network.” Therefore, Rok Mobile GSM service plans are this time on AT&T network rather than T-Mobile’s as it was before the end of 2015.

MVNO Red Pocket Mobile that operates on all four major networks has improved its prepaid monthly plans. Some of the carrier’s plans now include more data for the same value. Red Pocket Mobile increases data on the $20, $30 and $35 plans and at the same time, it adds new $15 plan that includes 1000 minutes, 1000 SMS or MMS and 1 GB of data.

After a bit of a pause, Straight Talk Wireless, TracFone’s prepaid subsidiary, added a couple of new ZTE smartphones to its prepaid lineup, ZMAX Champ and MAX Blue. Straight Talk ZTE ZMAX Champ with a price tag of $89.99 and the ZTE MAX Blue that costs $199.99, are both available at Straight Talk and Walmart.
