When you lead, people notice. Rebecca Klabusich, Hospital Administration at Good Samaritan Hospital, was recognized as the Good Samaritan Hospital Employee of the Month for February. Rebecca’s nomination read as follows: “Rebecca’s knowledge has been so supportive of one of our new employee’s onboarding to the point that the new employee felt like a full member of the team so soon in her employment. Rebecca made her feel supported, encouraged, and wholly engaged. Rebecca means so much to this organization – she is truly a wonderful asset and works diligently to share her wealth of knowledge openly.” Congratulations Rebecca, on being recognized as the Good Samaritan Hospital Employee of the Month. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. You are leading with expertise, experience, and care. #whenyoulead #howwillyouleadtoday

#WinterWeather Tip - With the drop in temperatures, make sure you stay warm by wearing layers when you head outside. Inner layers of wool, silk or polypropylene hold body heat. Top off your outfit with a tightly woven, wind-resistant jacket. Sweating increases heat loss, so remove extra layers when you’re too warm. Stay safe and warm this winter!

Heart Health Tip - Try waking up 15 minutes earlier each day. Use that extra time to meditate, read, reflect, exercise - whatever you'd like. It's your time. You'll find that you may be less stressed, more mentally acute, and sleep better at night. Try to add 15 minutes each week and see what happens. Heart Health Tip - Make a game of it. Play is really important - even for adults. Active recreation can help to relieve stress (which can lower blood pressure), boost metabolism (which burns calories), and can help you sleep better. These are all great ways to improve your cardiovascular health! Learn more about exercising to improve your heart health --> http://ow.ly/YhX25 #HeartHealth #HeartMonth

Heart Health Tips - Need a snack? Eat raw almonds. Unsalted almonds have been shown to have heart healthy nutrients and can help reduce bad cholesterol. But, don't go "nuts" for nuts if you're watching your weight, as they are rich in calories too. Moderation is always the key. http://ow.ly/YgYpz For more six second health tips, follow us on Vine --> http://ow.ly/YgXPn #HeartHealth #HeartMonth
