Originalists used a modern interpretation of the term to eviscerate campaign-finance limits. The Framers would be disgusted.

The story of Vesey, and slave insurrections in general, is one that should be celebrated as our wish as a species for our personal freedom and liberty. Having just visited Charleston, SC, a state that disgustingly continues to fly the confederate (rebel and traitorous) flag on its statehouse, I can attest to the fact that tours of old houses and sites have been conveniently cleansed of their slave histories.

This is almost cooler than the original auto-awesome...in fact, while it may sound like hyperbole, it's even more groundbreaking than the original gmail announcement, I think.

Yesterday the Ivanpah solar plant went live.  It's in the desert near Las Vegas, and uses thousands of mirrors to concentrate light onto a tower, generating heat and power.  To acknowledge the investment by Google, they reoriented some mirrors :-)

do NOT buy a mobile phone from Radio Shack and especially from the one at Harvard Square. I was told that if there were future deals in the next 30 days, that Radioshack would match them 100%, but after buying a MotoX for $99.99, and a verizon special for $49.99, I was then told the fine print would not let me match that deal. Even better, the manager tried to tell me I couldn't return the phone, until I noticed it had been less than 14 days since purchase, at which point she simply told me to return it and buy another one. This is horrible customer service and why brick and mortar stores are going bankrupt. I've learned my lesson about making big purchases at places like Radioshack.

The food at Mintrio Bistro was extremely disappointing. We ordered the Mediterranean Artichoke that was too difficult and tough to actually eat. We then ordered the artichoke Raviolli which was bland, and largely tasteless. The ambience was loud and it was impossible to get near the bar to get a pre-dinner drink on a weekend night. I would recommend finding a different place to eat.

The Post Ranch Inn is extremely expensive to stay in as a hotel, but the views and the luxury are undeniable. If you're looking for a way to enjoy this with out spending over $500 a night, you can eat at the Sierra Mar Restaurant which has the most gorgeous view and will make everything taste that much better :)

Trilogy service was excellent. They took excellent care of us, served a great meal and were extremely amicable. We were the first boat out and saw giant turtles. Highly recommended.

As a South Indian, I am always skeptical of places claiming the ability to make delicious South Indian food, but Dosa met and exceeded all of my expectations. The Truffle Oil Dosa, the traditional Onion Rava Dosa, the Vada, and especially the Sambhar were all delicious. Serving sizes were appropriate and the helpful staff warned us before ordering an extremely spicy habenero dosa. My only regret was not saving enough room to finish my full desert.

Had lunch at Sierra Mar on the Post Ranch Inn. The view in the restaurant is stunning and is a must visit if you're in the Big Sur. There were vegetarian options. Staff and Service were extremely friendly. This is a must eat place if you have the opportunity.
