Since the club sponsored the ARRL Rocky Mountain Division Hamcon this year, and the club's photographer attended, it made sense to get some photos!

Enjoy!

To all Amateur Radio Operators: Facebook is now allowing Hams to add their callsign to their profile. If you want to do it, here's how it's done:
- 1st) Open up "Settings".
- 2nd) Under "General Account Settings", on the line that says "Name", click "Edit".
- 3rd) Enter your callsign in the space marked "Alternate name".
- 4th) Check the box for "Include this on my timeline".
- 5th) Save these settings by entering your Facebook password in the box marked "Password.
- 6th) Click on the box marked "Save Changes".
- Now return to your Main page and your callsign will appear under your name.

A great group of hams looking to help anyone to get on the air and learn more about Amateur Radio in the Pikes Peak region.
Introduction
The Pikes Peak Radio Amateur Association (PPRAA) is an American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Special Service Club located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The PPRAA is a social and technical membership organization which provides educational and recreational activities for its members intended to further their knowledge in the art of radio communications.
During its monthly meetings, the PPRAA provides a place where people interested in amateur radio can socialize and exchange information and experiences related to all aspects of amateur radio. The PPRAA encourages its members to participate in public service communications, civil defense, charitable fund drives and other activities for which amateur radio is particularly adapted. The PPRAA also provides technical education and training to anyone interested in obtaining amateur radio privileges. The PPRAA does not own or sponsor any repeaters. For more information see the Club Articles of IncorporationClub Manual, and the Club Bylaws.
The PPRAA is a 501(c)(3) corporation.
