Installing JVM JRE PD Portal 16.6 does not finish in Win10 - Hi everybody:   There is a problem when I am installing PD Portal 16.6, the installation does not finish, it stops in Installing SAP JVM JRE 7.0... as the image show.  I have to end task through Task Manager.  The OS is Windows 10 Pro.   I will appreciate any help.   Regards   SandraE.

Re: Triggers on views - I've used      Database -> Edit Current DBMS Selected    TriggerTemplates. Created new trigger template with "View triggers" checked. "Trigger time "instead of", Trigger event "update"   On the view I select triggers tab, and select the Instead trigger and that brings up the definition. I can preview the expansion of the names/macros. %TABLE% shows up %VIEWNAME% and the others are replaced with blank.   I must be doing something wrong here.

Business Process Model(Solution Manager Language) - I have a Business Blueprint in SOLMAN (Implementation project) in that I have defined Business Scenarios Business Process Process Steps and Transactions. I tried to import it into Power Designer (16.6) through SAP Solution Manager Import option. But only scenarios and process are importing into Power Designer not process steps and Transactions. Re: Issue with PowerDesigner Web & License Server - When install Portal Server, you can ignore the error from Test Connection. Because at that moment, the install process has not got the whole java environment setting.   You can let the install finishes. When tomcat starts, it'll generate several logs. one of them, cmrserver.log, is in Powerdesigner Portal Server\log   Other in Powerdesigner Portal Server\Tomcat\log   These logs will tell you what is going on.   Sysam error "WinSock:Connect...

Re: Issue with PowerDesigner Web & License Server - Make sure under the Portal installation directory that you are using the 'sylapij.dll' that matches the JVM running Tomcat.   You may need to copy it from the PowerDesigner Portal 16\license\lib\x64 or x86 folder up on level into the 'lib' folder.   Chris

Issue with PowerDesigner Web & License Server - Hello,   I am trying to configure the PowerDesigner Web Portal to access the License Sever, both of which are on the same physical server, however when I enter the Host and Port details, select Test Connection, I get an error of "Failed to connect to server"   Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to problem solve?     We are running PowerDesigner 16.6 EA
