I live in Timber Chase apartments, and i will say a couple things: the people/faculty are all very nice, especially Ms. Vicky, Ms. Karen, and i feel so bad, but there is another woman who is extremely helpful and nice, but i always forget her name. The neighbors are so-so. It is the type of neighborhood where if you stay in your own lane, and mind your own business, the chances are 1 in a million that you will ever experience any problems. but, as far as making friends go, i'd rather keep to myself, and leave myself to make friends at college or work, and NOT with the neighbors. The only thing i want to make people aware of, is that it can take a little bit of back and forth getting your apartment worked on. it is not that they don't want to help. it is just that they are extremely busy. if they gave everyone their undivided attention and priority, then no one would ever get their turn, so to speak. just keep giving a couple reminders each week, and your turn will be there before you know it. they have fixed my stove, helped get some things repainted/worked on when i first moved in, as well as came over on the SAME day, that i mentioned my air conditioner stopped working. Fixed it in under 15 minutes. the best of all is they are about to fix my dishwasher which has needed fixing since i first moved in over a year ago, but have just been doing dishes by hand. i had offhandedly mentioned this problem, and told them about always having to do dishes by hand, and they said they would get someone to fix it real quick. i just got a note today, saying they looked at the problem, and are going to replace it for me. i called up, and the lady i spoke with, told me it would be tomorrow. And i totally believed her. :-D Finally, rent is really nice if you are on a tight budget like myself. probably the best of Athens in regards to the property, and maintenance you get for the price. I would recommend to anyone in college, and have a strict budget (Am halfway broke), like me. :-D

They know they got you when the hold 2 months rent until the end of the lease. Forget getting the office staff to put in your work orders let alone someone coming to fix anything unless you threaten to pay their rent money to somebody else to get stuff fixed. Pest control is a joke. Had bedbugs coming out of the walls and it took 2 months to get them to get anything done and by that point you couldn't sleep through the night.

I never had issues with them. They were kind to let my ex off my lease. It's not the company that sucks like most folks say. It's the neighbors. I met some super cool people, but a lot of them are trash. It can be entertaining if you're bored. Whenever the neighbors or me had cops called on us, we'd break out a chair and blunt, and watch the show. Call me a pervert, but some management was nice to look at. I'd fine reasons to go look at it if I was bored enough, which was quite often. Ooh. Anyway, I don't live in Athens anymore, but I'd rent from them if I had to. Pretty straight prices for that town. Everyone else takes advantage of college kids' daddies' credit card. I know I did when I worked in Athens. Lmfao.

lived at my unit for 2 years. I do not understand the post of anyone in the office being rude. All have been very welcoming and helpful. Also very easy to work with if I needed to pay rent a little late (just once!). you just communicate. Only issue I had was with scorpions and it obviously was not the properties fault! but they came out anytime I called for a quick check and spray! i hope to be at my unit for a good while.!

As a disabled veteran with many issues but especially my back being my main issue I had to leave before my lease was up because I couldn't continue to live alone and fend for myself. I informed management and Cassie that I was no longer able to hold on to the apartment due to my medical issue and having episodes of crippling spasms that had me immobile. They understood my issue and gave me approval to leave in Sept, but due to my back and a bad episode of spasms I informed them I need to leave prior to the month agreed on. Cassie and management said it was ok they never told me if I left 2 months prior to the agreed timing I would be charged. I left July 24, 2015 and kept my apartment clean. They never said I would have to pay a balance of $441.00, which is the amount they placed on collection. I was a good tenant kept my place clean and also kept my area clean. I was never a nuisance to my neighbors and I always paid my rent prior to the due date, which is why they allowed me to break my lease. I believe their sneaky tactics of collecting $441.00 from me is dirty but I have the paperwork which shows you agreeing to me leaving so when the right time come I will dispute the collection amount. Cassie and management knew I had to leave 2 months prior to the agreed timing due to my medical issue and I showed them my VA medical document pertaining to my back condition and they still placed a collection on my credit and lowering my credit score. I will never recommend this apartment establishment because they will rent to anyone and you could be a hard working person going to work and they would rent to people who have no desire to do anything but sit at home and watch you go to work. My neighbor got his apartment broken into and there is always an issue on that block. The price may be appealing but the area isn't. My apartment was 250 reed st and I moved in on March 15, 2014. On the first day (Monday) I moved in it was raining and as soon as I opened the door a big puddle of water was at the front passage way. I went to office and informed them of the issue, they came the first time and stated they fixed the issue but it wasn't fixed and after another attempt the issue was corrected but they never attempted to replace the mildew wood pieces that was soaked which started forming mold. I took pictures and video and showed Cassie and management and the wood pieces still was never replaced. The area I was at was occupied with drug dealers and prostitutes but no one ever bothered me. I can say the lawn was kept manicured but they don't keep the place up. The pictures I added were of the water damaged section of the living room entrance and I showed management I believe her name was Karen a woman with a British accent and they never replaced the wood or treated the area. I can bet the $400.00 they say I owe them they never fixed it and rented it in the same condition. They only care about money, despite the rent being feasible the area is not good and safe for families and hard working people who trying to make something of themselves.

These people are very unprofessional ,they said I got approved for the apartment I like but gave it to some one else then act like I don't know what I'm talking about,and give me the run around.... Mrs.Karen who I was dealing with said everything was great and told me what I needed to do next ,so I did what she said and I came with the deposit for new spot witch I really wanted but was really up set when the other said the gave it away When Karen verbal communicated saying it was minds but came ,it was a different story....
