President Trump's proposed military budget includes three times as much funding for defense as we spend on the arts, national parks, environmental protection, welfare, space exploration, foreign aid, scientific research and education combined.

Obamacare is the first policy we have found that has actually reduced the number of people who lack insurance by a significant amount. Almost 21 million fewer people lack insurance today than did when it was signed into law.

Under the House Republicans' tax plan, the median American would take on another $2,682 in national debt each year, but would only see his or her taxes go down by $260 a year. Meanwhile, people in the top 0.1% would take on the same additional $2,682 in debt, but, on average, they would see their taxes go down by $1.26 million.

It amounts to a sneaky way to transfer trillions of dollars from the middle class to the wealthy.

The final jobs numbers for the Obama presidency are up. He ultimately came in fifth out of the last twelve presidents. The job market did better under Obama than it has done under any Republican except Reagan.

Household income has finally surged back closer to where it is supposed to be. We're riding a wave of 78 consecutive months of job creation. The stock market has tripled in value in just 6 years.

This would not be a good time to switch back to a party with a dismal economic record.
