I always had a pleasant experience at Lexus Pohanka Service, however, recently I took in a car for service to change rear breaks. I was told it would take under an hour. After an hour & a half I asked where was my car, I got a response that it was coming. 2 Hours later the car appears, they apologized for the wait, I paid and went to take my car. When I open passenger door, I see apple leftovers in the center council. I called the manager or whoever I served my car with, they apologized and everything, but my experience was awful. For the money I paid, which was over $160 to change break pads that I brought the part for, it's horrible. No refund or discount was offered. I'm pretty sure I'll be using another service center in the future that is no Lexus.

I had my car service done today and I had a very positive experience. Even though it is such a busy day, Asad Malik took care of every thing from pulling my car service history, advising on the service to car inspection (thanks it saved me another 40 minutes). I was very pleased with Asad Malik for his friendliness, knowledge on the car services (he told me why the number plate keep deforming after every car wash) and his honesty.

Had to stop by Pohanka Lexus for a 'Check Engine' light. I always make sure Mitch Buster is available as he provides excellent customer support. Additionally, he always provides updates via text messaging. Turns out, I needed some work done on my exhaust. Mitch was able to provide a detailed explanation of what I needed to do. Thanks, Mitch! I'll see you for my 140K service.

Been going here for years for routine service. My average service price has been $400 per visit. Just paid $650 for my 90K mile service... read the bill and they changed oil, a cabin filter and wiper blades. The rest was "inspected". They also asked $1150 to change one leaky strut. No thanks, I just received quotes down the street for less than half that price. And that's the last time I go there, it's clearly overpriced. Pohanka just lost a long-term customer who can afford their prices... errr, but I'd rather not.

First off, I have no financial interest or relations with anyone at Pohanka. My wife and I, and other members of our company have been purchasing from Lexus Chantilly for years, I am on my 7th car from them. We still have the same salesperson, Mickey, and have found him helpful, straightforward, and he will bend over backwards to help you find the proper car for your needs. Their service department is ...simply... outstanding. I have had many prior cars and dealers over the years on non luxury cars - like Honda, Ford, Jeep, etc. The normal types of service departments that require pre-scheduling, long wait times, rude service, poor waiting areas, etc. have been eliminated with this dealer. Their service department is top notch, comfortable, loaners are plentiful, and the in/out capability is just the best and fastest I've ever seen anywhere. Not having to pre-schedule is truly a blessing and saves quite a bit of time, aggravation, and even money. I do not recall a time in the many times I've been there where I had a problem with a repair that required a re-visit other than piddly stuff that didn't matter, so no deductions for them in this area. In the past year or so, they have improved their waiting area to include massage chair(s), a sports/bar area, a quiet room with PC's and internet, comfortable seats, snacks, responsive personnel. Frankly, there's nothing I would really add - I rarely stay there anyhow - I utilize their in/out service, do a loaner car whenever I can, and I am glad for their operational excellence. Most times, I am there less than 15 minutes to drop off, and less than 10 to pick up (they have a rapid pickup option also, so you basically drop off loaner, grab your car, and go). On rare occasions during holiday or busy times have I seen longer wait times to drop off/pick up. Which car you choose is critical, of course, hard to go wrong with any Lexus, of course - but the service after the fact can 'drive' you insane if you cannot get it fixed timely, fixed well and without hassle. Lexus has six-sigma'd this process, at least at this location. I cannot see how any other Lexus dealer location could be better than their Chantilly site. So far, I've not had the reason to try any other. It's a bit out of my way to get to, like 30-40 minutes), so that's kind of a hassle, but it's not their problem, just the issue of where I live and work. Every time my lease comes to expiration, I review other manufacturers and options for a new car (survey marketplace), and while some other manufacturers may have some 'features' that beat the particular model I have, one must balance that against the potential of years of hassle for getting things fixed/performing maintenance. If you are in the market for a car, check the service dept out, reviews, etc. I have noticed a few other posters that talk about price being an issue. Not exactly sure one should rate lower stars for price being a bit higher than backyard mechanics or DIY. When you stay at a Ritz, do you rate them poorly for being higher priced than a Holiday Inn? I have not seen gouging at any time - prices have been clearly communicated, and one always has the option of determining that you can take specific items elsewhere, if that is your discriminator. If you are purchasing or leasing a Lexus or other luxury class item, the goal should be to get excellent service with a fair value placed on it. I believe Lexus of Chantilly does this, and I literally have had 70+ visits there.

I am an owner of 2008 Lexus G350 that I bought new from Pohanka Lexus, Chantilly. When ever I visit Chantilly Pohanka Lexus for any service like recommended schedules maintenance, annual inspections, maintenance issues, replacement of tires etc., I always seek the assistance and guidance of Service Consultant Asad Malik. Mr. Malik is a world class service consultant, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and above all he gives the best advise that I always accept. In addition he always delivers the cars on time as promised. I will give Mr. Malik 5 star rating.

James Manikath has been my Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly;s Service Advisor every since I bought my first Lexus in 2006. His professionalism and his work ethics are commendable as well as his care of his customers is par excellence. He listens to your issues and makes the appropriate recommendations. I have never had any of his recommendations every fail, which is simply wonderful. I know that I have a trusted and dedicated advisor in James. Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly has a great and wonderful asset in James. I have overheard a couple of customers saying that they always go to James with their car issues.

Working with Mickey Whitehead or Mike Wirth (and of course, Garry) will always be a friendly honest discussion about acquiring a car. I have had wonderful experience with everyone I have encountered at Pohanka Lexus including when I purchased my new 2011 from them in 2011. But it doesn't matter if you are in the market for a new car, used car or have general questions they will always be answered quickly, professionally, and with a true desire to assist you in making any decisions on acquiring a new automobile. We have always purchased our Mercedes Benz from Pohanka because the service and the professionalism transfers from Pohanka dealership to dealership. Walk into Pohanka Lexus and you will be extremely satisfied with your experience. and the service doesn't stop once you have purchased your vehicle. I would wish you luck with you endeavor but I know you won't need it:)))))
