Learn the difference between between Sushi vs Sashimi!

• Sushi and sashimi are both popular menu items of Japanese origin.

• Sushi is a dish that contains rice dressed in vinegar and other ingredients - most notably seaweed (nori).

• Sashimi is simply raw fish, seafood, meat on its own, sliced very thinly - and nothing else.

Giant Daikon of Sakurajima Volcano

Largest daikon ever discovered was close to 70 pounds which is roughly 31 kg. It is only grown in one area of Japan and gets large because of the mineral deposits from the Volcano
